Hannah is a truly wise woman for her years.  She continues to ask questions and search for new ideas and perspectives. As her client I appreciate her continuous searching which in turn caused me to ask questions and to dig deep during my birth journey. She prompted me to rethink my initial dismissal of a home birth, and the outcome was that I had the birth of my dreams.

Hannah is a thoughtful and supportive doula, who gives her clients the perfect amount of care and space for them to work theough their own challenges.  I highly recommend her.

I had the best birth team a home birthing mama could ask for and Hannah was an essential member. I felt like I had hired a fill in sister who also happened to be informed and up to date on the birth world and had a gift for connecting on a deeper level and supporting you in the ways you need. She was the first and only doula I "interviewed" while we went on a toddler paced walk in the woods. I love that she is on the more radical end of the spectrum, holds space for the mysteries of the divine and shares her special herbal blend for yoni steaming. If Hannah is the right fit for you and your family your intuition will be buzzing. She was always up for driving out to my house and visiting and talking about birth and parenting and current social issues. She has good book, podcast and massage therapist recommendations. We will forever be connected after my blissful and powerful birth and I am so thankful.

During my first pregnancy I was skeptical about hiring a doula. It wasn’t until my 32 week that I posted on Facebook asking for recommendations. That’s when Hannah’s name and contact was given to me. I emailed Hannah and she responded within the hour and was helpful to answer any and all questions that I had. When we met in person, she was so friendly, welcoming, warm, easy to talk to, full of information. Hannah is the main reason I had a near perfect birth experience. Originally, I was supposed to give birth at a hospital. Hannah had suggested I look into a birth center since the kind of birth I wanted was a natural, water birth. I am so happy I took her advice and switched to PSBC instead of the hospital. My birth was everything I had imagined - all thanks to Hannah and her continuing support through the last few weeks of my pregnancy. She will forever be my doula! xx

Hannah was my doula for the birth of my little girl in May. She took the time to get to know our family showing us she truly did care about our well being. She listened to what I wanted and expected during labor and delivery (which wasnt to much lol) and ensured that she would do the best she could to make it a reality. Thankfully I didnt need to go to the hospitol however, it was a big reliefe to have someone like Hannah on my birth team if it did come to that.

Shes honest and truthful about her experiences through motherhood which made me feel like I wasnt alone in this hormonal postpartum world I now live in lol. Shes a strong, bad ass momma whos not afraid to be outspoken when needed. Shes fierce yet free and every pregnant person should invite her along for the ride through their birth journey. Shes passionate about providing families with the support and care they need during those precious months leading up to birth. Shes a wonderful renforcement for anyones birth team. An added bounus is she makes some delicious homemade bone broth that will sooth the soul and speed recovery times.

So if your looking for a strong willed, honest, passionate and caring doula, look no further. Hannah is the perfect match for you.

Hannah is a gem! I can't say enough amazing things about my experience with her. My pregnancy was extremely complicated, resulting in my hospitalization a month before the delivery. She put me at ease and helped me reframe the situation in a positive light. By the time of the delivery, I felt empowered and ready to handle whatever happened. My daughter was 3 months early and born via C-section. During the surgery, Hannah was a great support to my husband and I. Afterwards, she helped tremendously as I recovered and dealt with managing the pain. In the weeks following the birth, she was sure to check in to see how we were adjusting to life as new parents with a baby in the NICU. Our doula gave us space to process and talk through everything, along with providing us with some great resources to assist us during such a stressful time. Being so new to the area last year (2018), we now can't imagine having to go through the experience without her. Hannah truly helped us to find joy and comfort in a situation that felt totally out of our control, and we absolutely look forward to working with her again in the future.

We intended on giving birth at a birth center but ended up transferring to a hospital. Hannah was with us from induction until after our son was born. Hannah never lost sight of our goals & had our best experience in mind. We met with Hannah before labor at two in-home visits where she went over pain management techniques, creating a birth plan, breastfeeding resources (she lent us some books!), rebozo/baby positioning, & reviewed our birth bag and hers. A day or two after we were discharged from the hospital, we saw Hannah for a follow-up in-home visit. She made us dinner & offered more help with the new baby.

From the mother: Hannah was so wonderful in helping us to prepare for our kiddo's birth - after interviewing a few doulas, we chose Hannah because we felt that she was invested in making sure we had a birth experience we could look back on & be grateful for. And while our birth experience was much different than what we envisioned, Hannah made sure that we always active participants in making decisions during the birth process. She made sure that the environment was as similar to the birth center as possible - minimizing side chatter, using twinkle lights & soft music, & providing guidance on labor positions & pain management techniques. Hannah took the time to make sure she understood what we wanted from our birth experience & did everything to help make it happen.

From the father: Hannah was crucial for my birth experience. She was always mentally present & provided a grounded voice to help me stay focused & calm. I feel she helped me just as much as my wife. There's no way I would've remembered to eat or drink anything if Hannah wasn't there. She always had an idea or a way to keep or change the energy and feeling of the room. Absolutely would recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a doula.

This was my second child ,  my second birth. My first was 5 years ago when i was 19, young and naive, I didn't know my rights,  I didn't know my options or that I even had a choice when it came to my birth and labor experience.  It was a very traumatizing first experience labor and delivery ,  which caused severe postpartum depression, so bad that I waited 5 years to have another child. I knew I needed help this time, and I would always see Hannah's posts on Instagram and just loved everything about the way she spoke and shared her experiences , (we were friends from before ) but when she explained to me what a doula was I definitly wanted in! And the fact she at the time was training to become a doula it was a perfect match.  She was amazing, supportive, non judgemental, it's like she has been doing this for years! At one point I believe I told her this was definitly her calling! My pregnancy, labor and birth the 2nd time aroumd having Hannah as my doula, i was knowledgeable I was prepared, I was honestly excited and ready to bring my babe into the world all because she made me believe in myself she was so motivational I am honestly so proud of myself for all the hard work I put in and she helped me through it. Me and my partner were taught so many good ways to help tolerate pain during labor.  We used every single trick she taught us, she was so supportive of us both, I felt this deep connection in the room, as if this was were I was suppose to be and these are the people that are suppose to be here with me, I felt cared for and not scared like the first time. She was there from the moment I was induced to the moment where my son was put on my chest. She even brought my family delicious homemade chicken noodle soup a few days after we came home. She will always be my go to doula, she is an amazing woman and an amazing mother and it shows so much in the work she does for other woman. I couldn't thank her enough!
