Hoda Yusuf

Hello, I am writing my experience with Ayan Abdulahi as my doula the day I gave birth. Giving birth went a lot smoother for me due to having Ayan by my side. Ayan was there supporting me through everything before I gave birth to after. She was absolutely phonemonal and extremly kind throughout the whole process. She did so much for me without me having to ask. She was assisting me to the bathroom when I needed help and constantly checking how I was doing. The massages were also extremly helpful and they made me relax while I was super anxious before giving birth. While I was pushing she was very positive and reassuring me adn holding my hand as I pushed. I was so happy with this experience that I would definatly ask Ayan to be my Doula again when I have my second child.

Thank You!

Kafia Hosh

I hired Ayan as a postpartum doula after having my first child in March. As a first-time mom, I was anxious and not sure what to expect. But Ayan was instrumental in calming fears and supporting me during those first six weeks post birth. She not only helped me breastfeed, but she also provided me with resources on how to increases my milk supply. Ayan cared for my son so I could take a walk, nap or just have some alone time to recoup and recharge. She was so attentive to both me and my son's needs. Ayan checked on my emotional well being daily and made sure I was eating and resting enough. Ayan was like a big sister, a mom and an all-around great friend. I could not have asked for a better person to help my postpartum recovery and transition into motherhood.
