Here is what a client named Amy Lee-Carpio has to say about working with Julie:

Julie was a back up doula that my doula Jen have introduced. Julie made sure her and I meet over zoom to get to know each other. She was a pleasant to talk to, that I open up on my desire for a Vbac after a cesarean delivery and all the factors from having gestational diabetes in my pregnancy (2nd) and unsupported Obgyn.

My daughter unexpected want to arrive 3 weeks early and my doula was able to engaged Julie on standby. Julie was able to communicate with my husband on my laboring progress which was happening fast. She came when my husband shared my pain tolerance which was at a 5 out of 10 and thank goodness she went to the hospital because I don't think I would have managed a vaginal delivery without her.  When Julie arrived, she was so calm and stood by my side while I labor. The contractions were so intense, but Julie was there to guide me through each contractions. She told me to focus in breathing, breath the baby down to my pelvic, relax my shoulders and to reset/relax after the contractions.  She also suggested listening to music at my choice that calmed me and relax. At one point, I wanted/ needed an epidural and got checked I was at 9.5. Julie was supportive but the anesthesiologist couldn't make in time.  My daughter was coming and Julie help with my emotions and pain at the moment. She was super supportive and guided that made it possible for me (a mama with gestational diabetes) to delivered my daughter via VBAC unmedicated on leap day! I highly recommend Julie! She's made it possible or my successful Vbac!

Here is what a client named Aliki Pofahl has to say about working with Keely:

When my husband and I found out I was pregnant, we knew that we would want a doula to help in every way possible throughout the pregnancy and birth. We had holistic birth plans and wanted a person who believed in the same ideas. It took many interviews to find the right person for us, Keely. She listened to us, she explained every detail about the birthing process to us, she was there for us and especially me in every step of the way. Then it came time for the birth, which was unexpected due to complications on my part with preeclampsia. Due to this diagnosis, I could not have the birth plan that I chose and had to give birth in the hospital. Keely made sure that I still had almost everything that I wanted in my holistic birth plan even though things were very different. The little things she did was massaged my legs with oils due to the swelling and fed me so that I could be strong when it was time to push. Besides these little things, Keely helped me through the medications I was put on, the pitocin, and each and every contraction. The counter pressure and the “hmm-ing” sounds helped me get through active labor and contractions with a breeze. When it was time to push, she helped assist with holding my leg and making sure I was pushing when I needed to with vocal cues and breathing techniques. When my baby was born all I could think was that I could not have done this without her, during pregnancy, during labor, and now after she is a huge part of my life. Not only was my birth a little traumatic - Keely made it known that I am this super human, bad ass, queen and she will forever be a part of my and my families circle.

Here is what a client named Erin has to say about working with Kimberly:

Kimberly is an amazing doula! I wanted to hire a doula originally because I was nervous about labor for my first child and didn't know what to expect. From our first conversation, Kimberly made me feel completely at ease. She's extremely knowledgable and was very sensitive to my needs. She answered every silly question that I had, but more importantly answered questions I didn't know I should have. I felt empowered to attend all of my OB appointments alone because she took the time to discuss what I should expect from my OB at each stage of my pregnancy. She stayed in constant contact throughout my pregnancy with regular check-ins and I really enjoyed her prenatal yoga sessions. When it came time for labor, I remember feeling incredibly relaxed. Having previously discussed what I should expect at every stage of labor made it easy to stay calm through it all. She even gave my husband what he needed to support me throughout pregnancy and labor. We are both so grateful to have had Kimberly on our team!
