My husband and I were on the fence with whether we would want to have a doula or not for our first baby. After my first consult with carolyn we automatically felt comfortable. She is very genuine and down to earth. She makes you feel like you are talking to an old friend you haven’t seen in a while there is no awkwardness or lack of trust in her abilities and knowledge. With her assistance we created a wonderful birth plan and she made sure we stuck to it as best as possible. She always responded fast and answered all our questions and concerns.

She truly has your back in the hospital when the show starts! By holding me up on my worst contractions to saying exactly what I needed to hear. Knowing she was by my side made me feel so comfortable.

We highly recommend using her talents to benefit your birthing experience and we will always use her with any and all of our future children.

I hired Carolyn as my birth doula for my first baby and she was awesome! Choosing a doula that I felt comfortable with was extremely important to me since my husband was on deployment and would not be there for the birth and Carolyn was perfect! She responded promptly to texts and calls, was very knowledgeable, and was calm, supportive and attentive in the delivery room. Carolyn was an amazing doula start to finish and she has my highest recommendation! A note for military families: She is also TRICARE certified which was nice that I was able to get them to pay for part of her services.

As a first time mom who wanted to have a birth the least invasive I could manage I knew for me, I needed a doula. Doulas are amazing tools when overcoming obstacles in childbirth. When I first got into contact with Carolyn , I could instantly tell she was focused on my own individual experience with this process. She connected with me and got an understanding of what it was i was looking for . She made it a point to help educate me with books and online videos to prepare. During my labor, this was what allowed me to be comfortable with Carolyn. She is there the whole time supporting my wishes and goals for my birthing experience, and this not only helped me, but it helped my partner support me even better. And even when things don’t always go according to plan she’s still consistent and doesn’t stop until not only is the job done, but when she feels that I am safe and able to be without her. I would recommend Carolyn to be a doula in any aspect needed for your birthing experience!
