Judi was a big help in the first few months of baby's arrival!

I was still in my 3rd trimester when we met Judi. We were planning to book help in advance of baby arriving to ensure that we'd have the extra set of helping hands there in the first few months. We were glad that we booked early as Judi books up pretty quickly.

I was never so thrilled in the first few months post-partum than I was when Judi arrived at my door to help. There is just so much to do and she fits in to your routine and household seemlessly. With her level of experience, she just knows what you need as a new Mom. I highly recommend working with Judi, not only as a doula, but as a friend too.

Judi is such a kind soul and we are so grateful for her help with our new baby. We needed extra help while my husband was in grad school. I had met Judi through prenatal yoga (she is also an excellent yoga teacher!) and learned of her doula services. She is a baby whisperer and our son was comfortable with her right away. Besides helping us with watching our son and stuff around the house, Judi also was very informative and easy to talk to about all things baby and beyond. I highly recommend Judi for her doula services.

We were a sleep deprived couple with a 10 week old newborn who refused to sleep longer than 1.5 hours at a time overnight. Judi came to the rescue on short notice and was warm, caring, experienced, and willing to help in all capacities. In addition to taking great care of our baby, she tidied up and started some breakfast for us. She was unobtrusive and I got a great night’s rest. She was also a wonderful listener and made helpful suggestions regarding pumping schedules. Judi is such a calming presence and we are lucky to have found her. Thank you Judi!

I have been working with Judi in my first 6 weeks postpartum, thus far. I was really overwhelmed with taking care of my newborn, especially right around the busy holiday season. Judi stepped in right away and helped get my husband and I get through the holidays/earliest days of adjusting to newborn life, saving my sanity. She provided me with some much needed emotional support and empathetic listening in a non-judgmental manner, and it was amazing to have an extra set of skilled hands on the days I was solo parenting. She is very nurturing and I knew we could entrust our son with her. Also, we were just introducing the bottle to him, which was a struggle, and she stepped up to that challenge. He is now able to take the bottle! My family and I are very grateful to Judi!

Judi was my postpartum doula after the recent birth of my son. I hired Judi, along with another doula, to cover overnight baby care so I could sleep (I'm a single parent of two, so I knew I'd need a lot of extra help). Judi immediately offered to work with the other doula to figure out which days they would each be able to cover. I was impressed by her initiative to handle the logistics and soon discovered that Judi's forte is organization, detail and punctuality. Judi is a highly organized and reliable person, and her easygoing and caring personality put me at ease right away. My baby was in good hands with her, and I was able to sleep well at night knowing she was taking care of him. Judi also went out of her way to clean and organize my living room and kitchen when possible overnight, and waking up to a neater living environment was a huge relief. I would not hesitate to recommend Judi to anyone looking for a trustworthy and capable postpartum doula. She was great with my baby and took just as much of an interest in me, my life and situation, and offered a shoulder to lean on. She's a great listener and warm person with a lot of willingness to jump in and help when needed.

My family was fortunate to have Judi work (should I use a different word here?) with us as a postpartum doula. Being first-time parents, my husband and I greatly benefited by the wisdom and nonjudgmental support that Judi provided. Judi can be described as hardworking, attentive, kind, dependable, a great listener, knowledgeable, and nurturing. She has a calming presence and we quickly felt comfortable with Judi being in our home and caring for our sweet baby girl.

Personally, I found all the information and vastly different opinions about childcare to be overwhelming. One of the most valuable aspects of support that Judi provided was acting as a sounding board and helping me feel comfortable with my instincts. Not only would Judi talk through feeding, sleeping and other developmental changes for the baby she helped me understand the changes and emotions that I was dealing with as well. Judi would also continue to research my questions and always provided meaningful information and guidance.

My husband and I would strongly recommend Judi and are confident that you will find her to exceed any of your needs and expectations!

Judi McGee was the most lifesaving part of my postpartum recovery. Three words: sleep, sleep, and sleep. The best part of employing Judi was FINALLY getting sleep. Judi did an excellent job of soothing my son and keeping him quietly content while I caught ZZZs.

Beyond the basics of postpartum care—holding baby, tidying around the house, and making yummy meals—Judi boldly took on my son’s unique challenges. Judi adeptly wrangled tubes and syringes for his tube feeding. She also was a master of soothing his colic. She was never judgmental as I struggled my way through learning to better care for my son, and even went along with me on my foray into cloth diapering.

Having a new person in your home can feel imposing coming into your home—but Judi is the opposite of imposing. Judi has a very easy going personality. Spilled milk, screaming baby, or braindead mom—she handles it all with grace. Judi can converse and share stories with just about anyone. If you’re looking for a highly skilled, empathic postpartum doula, you’ve found it in Judi. I can’t recommend her enough!
