An angel came into our lives in form of a Duola, called Simone. 

With our first baby on the way, after years of wating for a baby to come, we were so excited about meeting him. Everything was new and different for us in a foreign country, without family to support us during a risky pregnancy, Simone and her excellent human touch gave us peaceful relief.

I am very grateful with Simone. She did what I needed during the labour, her accurate interventions helped me to cope with the pain. I felt safe by her side and in good hands.

Welcoming my 3rd child I knew the best thing I could do for myself was get support during the day for extra sleep.  Allison was amazing and loving with my newborn baby.  It was so nice to escape for a shower or sleep knowing my baby was in good hands with her 14 years of experience.  Allison helped catch me up with laundry and dishes during the day as well.  It was also great to talk to someone with so much baby knowledge.  Not having to rely so heavly on family this time around this great too.  You would be lucky to have Allison support you in your pregnancy or post pregnancy journey.

Lisa was truly a godsend for us during the postpartum period. I had a very difficult birth experience, which ended in an unplanned C section. At the same time, I didn't seem to have enough breastmilk at first to feed my son, so we had to supplement with formula. It was very stressful, one of the most difficult times of my life.

Enter Lisa. I'm really bad at asking for help with chores, but she took initiative to make life smoother. She did the dishes, folded laundry, and encouraged me. She provided a listening ear and compassion when I was struggling and my mood was low. Perhaps most importantly, she gave me excellent coaching on breastfeeding and pumpinh which was such a struggle for me. We improved my son's latch, and I fed him better and boosted my supply. There was one day where I had a painful blocked duct, and Lisa helped me with that with some effective strategies... I'm so thankful it did not develop into mastitis. 

At one point in the early postpartum period, I thought I would give up on breastfeeding. Well, my son is 10 months old today, and I have been exclusively breastfeeding him since he was 2.5 months old. It's so easy for me now, and a special bonding time for us. I'm grateful I stuck it out, with Lisa's wonderful support and encouragement.

If you're a new momma, Lisa will help you! It can be a tough time, but getting help from people like Lisa can be a game changer. Thank you, Lisa, for all you've done for us. I'm a happy mom now, but will never forget how you were there for us in those difficult days.
