I was 23 years old when I was pregnant with my daughter. I read all the books, watched videos left and right. I thought I was ready for a delivery. I had a plan. Having a Doula was not on my list. I had many unexpected complications including being on bed rest for over two months. I felt like nothing prepared me for this. When Tina came to me as a Doula and helped guide me. Her positive perspective, thourough knowledge and experience helped me on my journey. My delivery was scheduled two weeks early due to my complications. I was able to have Tina by my side through the whole process. She helped me stick to my plan as much as I could and encouraged me to make the best decision for me and my daughter when the plan had to change. No one prepares you for back labor or the medication wearing off. She guided me through it. Using breathing techniques and massages helped when the pain got worse. When my daughter came Tina stayed by my side to help me understand what to expect. Following up with her she was able to instruct me on what other help to get, such as a lactation consultant and what techniques, positions and equipment help best. Even when my daughter had to go back to the hospital, Tina was easy to talk to on the phone for emotional support and guidence.

I would never go without a Doula again. Tina was there when my son was born as well. She is amazing and kind. The support every mom needs on this journey.

Tina was an amazing addition to our birth team! She helped us stay calm, confident and focused during labor. She kept in contact during the weeks before and came as soon as there was a sign of things kicking up. She walked with me, did massage and some essential oils and pressure points to get things going. She made sure I was eating and staying hydrated throughout. She kept me comfortable by offering support during position changes when I had contractions. She did counter pressure on the small of my back and kept in tune with my rhythm. She also showed my husband how to support me in this way, he felt truly involved and helpful because of that. She was there all the way through the night; never leaving me unassisted. She helped me get the hang of breastfeeding shortly after birth and advocated for me if I felt uncomfortable. We couldn't recommend her enough, can't imagine our birth without her, and wouldn't want to welcome another baby otherwise. Tina delivers!

Tina is amazing! She is kind and gentle and offers helpful suggestions without being pushy. She was very available to me before, after, and during to answer questions, attend the birth even when I had false labor for several hours! She continued providing information as needed throughout my hospital birth with twins. After having two natural home deliveries I especially was grateful to have her present. She was the one whose strongly encouraged me to push at the right time to avoid a C-section! I appreciated her gentle urging at that crucial moment!

Tima was also the one who taught my child birth class when I was pregnant with my first. Again, she was patient and kind with all my new momma questions! I would definitely recommend having a doula and especially Tina was super!
