Disclaimer: We had Charlotte help as a postpartum doula. Originally we didn't even realize some doulas specialized, or offered, postpartum services. We are very glad we had that misconception cleared up for us.

Not only is Charlotte a wonderful doula but she's a wonderful person. My wife and I had a very difficult start with our first child but Charlotte came in, calmed us down, helped us regain our sanity, and it's only the slightest of exaggeration to say that she probably saved our marriage.

Without getting too into the details, the doctors and nurses we were seeing did not help us through the hectic and frightening period that is immediately after birth. Charlotte helped us identify a tongue-tie that was ruining my wife's ability to breastfeed, helped us understand the way our baby liked to sleep instead of what the hospital tried to have us do, and ultimately brought some level of order to our new-found chaos. Seeking Charlotte's help in all of this is hands-down one of the best decisions we've ever made, period.

I could continue to gush about how greatly our lives have improved due to Charlotte's intervention but let me just be blunt: Charlotte is worth the money, no question about it. She's personable, friendly, calm, and you will definitely feel better with her guiding you through the process of caring for your child.

Our experience with Charlotte was amazing. From our very first phone call, I knew we immediately "clicked" and I wanted her to be my doula. After our first meeting, my husband and I looked at each other and said "YES! We want her." We could tell she was experienced and would know how to assist us during the birth. Charlotte was extremely helpful and responsive throughout my pregnancy. I had some minor health issues related to the pregnancy and Charlotte offered useful, research based advice. My son was "sunny side up" and she spent numerous hours researching stretches and techniques to get him to turn. Unfortunately, during my labor, Charlotte had her own health scare and she was worried she wouldn't make the birth. She quickly referred me to her back up doula and I felt safe and secure that I was in good hands. The back up doula assisted me during the labor but I am happy that Charlotte was able to rejoin my husband and I during the actual delivery. Charlotte checked in on us consistently the following weeks after birth. I was having some issues with my son's diaper output and she was able to offer some lactation advice as well. Overall, I would encourage everyone to hire Charlotte, I had a great experience with her during my pregnancy, labor and postpartum.

I am so thankful to have had Charlotte in my support team after the birth of my second baby. As a mom for the second time, so many people were focusing on helping with my toddler, and Charlotte was there to really support me in my postpartum healing and bonding with my new baby. She allowed me the space to slow down and rest while life got crazier as a mom of 2. My husband knew they days Charlotte came because I was always in extra good spirits!

Having Charlotte as our doula was an extremley helpful and reassuring experience. She is extremly informed about the practices and expectatinos of maternity, labor, and post-partum care. With her help, my wife and I were able to rely on her expertise whenever we felt discouraged, hindered, or weary from labor. Charlotte was willing and able to reinforce the natural birth methods she passionatley teaches in times of need. She came fully prepared with a "doula-bag" containing oils, massaging tools, snack, water, and other items to assist my wife during labor. The way she adds modesty to her intellect makes her an easy-going and approachable person to work with. No one at the birth center had any problem working with her because of the way she carries herself. Beyond her professionalism, Charlotte will allow herself to become vulnerable to the point where you feel comfortable enough to have her as a friend, rooting for you and encouraging you to get through the labor process. She is a great advocate, friend, and just an amazing person to know and work with. My wife and I are extremely thankful for her.

Meeting with Charlotte really helped gain valuable knowledge to coach my wife through her delivery. Charlotte was available after the delivery to help evaluate our sons lip tie and latch. Big help, a lot of knowledge to be shared.
