I had Lauren as my doula for my first baby and I am so incredibly grateful! Before birth  we met with Lauren a couple times and asked her so many questions and she always reassured us about everything. Lauren was supportive about anything we decided we wanted or didn't want for our birth and child. During labor and delivery she was absolutely there for ME. Back massage, foot massage, hip squeezes, oils, encouraging words, reminding me of what I want and keeping my anxiety down. She was a saving grace! Having Lauren in the delivery room allowed me to focus on my baby and allowed my husband to just be my husband. I don't know how I would've done it without her! After the baby, Lauren kept in contact with me to make sure I was breast feeding well and adjusting to mom life. She is truly a blessing!

Lauren was wonderful! We just moved to town and were having a baby! She made our journey to parenthood in a new place so smooth.  We wanted to have a natural birth and Lauren was fully supportive.   However, we found out our daughter was breech.  Lauren tried to give us a variety of ways to get her to flip and was so willing to help.  We tried almost all of those ideas, but our baby didn't want to flip, so we ended up having to have a C-section.  Lauren ended up in the operating room and recording our daughter's birth! This unplanned situation couldn't have gone better with Lauren's presence.

Lauren is such a wonderful doula! From the moment she agreed to be our doula, Lauren went above and beyond to help my husband and I to better understand the labor process. She communicated with us frequently, giving us questions to think about (birth plan related) and checking in to see how I was doing physically and emotionally. She gave us a list of positions weeks before I delivered so we could practice them before I was in labor.

When I developed ICP in my last trimester, Lauren did her own research and presented me with things I could try to feel more comfortable, and was an emotional support when we discovered I needed to be induced at 37 weeks.

Lauren was an absolute rockstar when it came time for me to labor, and my husband and I fully believe that I would not have been able to have the lightly medicated, vaginal birth I did without her assistance. She met us at the hospital and was with us every minute of my 28 hour induction process. She was encouraging and helped with relaxation (essential oils were great!), positioning, walking with me and rolling my IV pole, and pain relief (we quickly discovered that applying counter pressure to my hips was effective in decreasing my contraction pain the majority of the time I was in labor). When it came time to push, Lauren was by my side the entire time holding my leg up and providing encouragement until our little guy was born. We would recommend Lauren to anyone seeking the assistance of a doula!
