I had a very difficult labor with my first child, so I knew that I wanted to use a doula for the delivery of my second child. Jayde was recommended to me by another doula, and right off the bat I knew this labor was going to go so much more smoothly. She helped me think about what I wanted this delivery to look like and figure out what my goals were. Her support throughout the labor and delivery was beyond amazing. She also helped guide my husband to be a better birthing partner, which was awesome. I fully credit her with being the reason I was able to have a natural delivery. Jayde is a rockstar and I would strongly recommend her to any woman who is considering hiring a doula.
We have really enjoyed having Jayde in our home and being a part of our family. She was simply easy and amazing to work with. She is kind and caring, passionate about advocating for mamas and completely trustworthy. She stays focused on me and my health-mental and physical-making sure the focus is on my well being. Every time she is here, I feel like I can get so much done -for myself- which makes me feel less stressed and more like “me,” which is something needed in those post partum months. She volunteers to do things around the house, asks what I need done, and just handles it all like a boss! I trust her completely with my 2 little ones and have appreciated the relationship we’ve all developed. I would highly recommend Jayde for any Doula needs, whether for a pregnancy or postpartum, she really does care about everything you’re experiencing. She will 100% be an advocate for you. She has wonderful resources for mamas if extra help is need for areas such as breastfeeding or mental care etc. I am so so grateful for everything she’s helped us with and thankful for the passion she has to help mamas when they’re in such an important and special time of life.
Jayde is an exceptional doula and we are so thankful to have had her support during labor.
Jayde was wonderful. It was a bit of a coincidence that Jayde was my doula. My doula for my first baby happened to be pregnant the same time as me with her second as well. Expect she was due a month before me which meant she wasn't going to be able to be my doula again. She recommended Jayde. Jayde's personality is very fitting for a doula. She was super steady and encouraging during the labor. She was very helpful with rubbing my back when I needed it during contractions. Her confidence in me was more than I had in myself, and was very encouraging especially towards the end. She is also very focused on helping during the postpartum part of birth. She's very supportive and really make sure that you are surrounded by help and that you don't have to do it on your own. I had a wonderful experience with Jayde as my doula and I would recommend her for any other ladies who are wanting a doula.
Jayde was so helpful throughout the entire pregnancy and always gave evidence based, non biased information as I made decisions for myself and my baby. She checked in with me and made sure I was doing ok all throughout the postpartum period. She was very supportive as we waited for labor and stayed in the loop through a couple days of prodromal labor. I needed counter pressure during every single contraction and she was able to provide that for me which made a huge difference in how I managed labor. She kept encouraging me and I felt empowered and strong. I’m so thankful I had her as my doula!
Jayde was an amazing doula! She was a great support and resource before, during, and after labor. Whenever I had questions, Jayde was available to answer them and provide me with evidence based information. Jayde would check in to see how I was doing and how my prenatal appointments went throughout my pregnancy. She even called to check on me emotionally after a disagreement with a close family member regarding my birth plan. Throughour my labor, Jayde did everything she could to make me comfortable from hip squeezes and counter pressure to hanging string lights and playing my birth playlist. She encouraged me that I was doing a great job and cheered me on through pushing. When I was asked about a catheter to empty my bladder and sterile water injections in my back, she asked questions I wasn’t in the right mind to even think of and make sure I understood what was being offered so that I could make an informed decision. After the birth, she celebrated with us but also gave us the space we needed. She went and picked up dinner for my husband and I even though it was very late and she’d been at the hospital all day. A few days after the birth, she came by to check on the baby and me and process my birth experience as well as answer any questions I had. She made sure I knew she was available if we needed anything at all. Even after that meeting, she has continued to text me and see how I’m doing. Jayde was an invaluable asset to my birth team. Her support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum was amazing. As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions and worries, but she did an amazing job answering my questions, calming my fears, and encouraging my strength. Everyone should have a doula in their corner.
Jayde was awesome! She knew my needs before I did. We met while I was having contractions during labor. She was filling in for my doula last minute. Jayde is easy to talk to. It’s easy to feel comfortable around her. She is knowledgeable, hands-on and has a passion for what she’s doing. I would feel confident recommending Jayde to any of my friends or family.
