My wife and I were looking for someone to help us with questions, expectations and concerns. Someone that brought my wife comfort and helped me be an effective birth partner. Shenise did all that and more. Always ready to answer questions, supply us with research and hands on training, all the while maintaining calm with a great sense of humor and warmth.

The birth process is stressful, and while I’m no expert I hope you have someone there who not only helps you make sense of things but also provides comfort and strength in showing you that your ideal birth is possible. I can’t recommend Shenise enough to fill that role.

I was lucky and honored to be the 1st clients and a first time mother this past August,  When I 1st heard of a doula I didn't know exactly what to expect I did my research and seen the benefits of having somebody there with you step-by-step being a first time mother and not knowing what to expect was tough in itself but having a dula that was carrying and supportof of all of my decisions made things a lot easier. I'm a tough personality to deal with and shenice took her time and comforted me when I needed it most . She walked me through every step of the way from purchasing a birth ball to making it to appointments with me and help me figure out if I wanted a natural birth or in the hospital birth. She helps me with my birth plan and my vaccine decision for my child because I only wanted the best for my daughter. Once I called her to the hospital she came immediately and did as much as she could to comfort me while I decided if I wanted an epidural or not. She held my hand helped me breathe and spoke up for me when I was unable to speak for myself. If I could do this experience all over again would I have a dula? Yes! And she would be the one for me I encourage everybody to have somebody that knows a little bit more and can take the time To support you on such an amazing journey.
