I am a volunteer with Baby Blues Connection as an ongoing peer support resource.
I believe that every family deserves the support that a doula can provide. If you can not afford my standard rate, please reach out and we will find a solution that works for both of us!

Leah is WONDERFUL. So knowledgeable and loving and kind. I had so much fear about not being good enough and it was so hard trying to get through all the conflicting advice. She helped me so much by empowering me as a monther.
I'm so grateful she was part of that very tender time of healing and discovery.
Leah was absolutely amazing! She was extremely helpful both before and after I gave birth, helping me by caring for my physical and emotional needs before and after I gave birth to my son. She knew right away what I needed, and most of the time I didn't even need to ask; she just knew. She was so gentle and such a calming presence during that incredibly hectic time, and even provided some much needed encouragement and rest for my husband, who was having a stressful time adjusting to the new responsibilites of fatherhood. Would highly recommend! 5+ stars.
Leah was a life-saver for me and my family. With the joy and love that came with my daughters birth, also came intense anxiety and insomnia. I am so fortunate that a friend gave me Leah's name as an option for help during this challenging time. The moment Leah came to our house and sat down to talk with me on the couch, I felt so reassured. She listened and knew how to jump right in to assist me. Her calm, kind, thoughtful, and energetic demeanor brought such a sense of peace to our home. Whether it was teaching me how to use the carrier, coming up with sleeping solutions, helping me meal plan, making meals, trouble shooting breastfeeding problems, holding and caring for my month old baby while I got a much needed moment to shower, or just taking time to listen to my struggles with new motherhood - Leah's support was invaluable. I will always be grateful for her care during such a vulnerable life transition.
Lea is simply a wonderful human being. She came into our home with lots of warmth, understanding, gentleness and wisdom. I felt very comfortable to have her in my home, giving me breaks to shower and have a little me time, while she was taking care of our baby girl.
Leah listens thoroughly, remembers conversations and continues the thread even weeks later. She has a great sense of humor and teaches awesome baby massage!! We love her and recommend her to every mom, dad and baby.
Leah reached out to me while she was fishing up her Postpartum Doula program and was looking for families to work with. Being someone who works in the alternative care field, I was definitely interested in having someone who would be there to support me on my recovery and journey into motherhood. Leah is a calm and caring person who will do whatever she can to make things easier for you. She took wonderful care of me and was always interested in how I was doing both physically and mentally. Not only did she care for me, but she was there for my new baby, my husband, and our dog. Everyone loved (and still loves) Leah. I cannot recommend her enough!
Leah was a great asset to have after the birth of our son. We primarily used Leah's doula services for meal preparation, and some light housework (laundry, some vacuuming, etc.). She was really helpful in these areas and lessened the burden of meal planning during the six weeks which we had her come help us. Leah is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help make your post-birth transition a smooth one. She is very punctual and an excellent communicator. I'd trust her again to come to our home, and highly recommend her for any help you may be seeking following the birth of your baby.
