Shana was great to work with. It was really helpful having her advice and encouragement ment during labor. She has a calming effect which definitely helped me when going through my contractions.  I highly recommend working with Shana.

We were lucky enough to work with Shana and Ashley as a team. Shana was such and important part of my pregnancy. My husband and I had not planned to have kids, but life had other plans! Here I was at 35 with no idea what I was doing and a ton of anxiety about pregnancy and the whole birth process. We wanted someone with lots of knowledge on comfort measures, that we felt comfortable with, and most of all they got our sense of humor! Ok maybe that last one is not so important. But I was immediately drawn to Shana’s natural confidence, she felt warm and reassuring. It was also important to me that our doula was able to support my husband as my primary birth partner and help him to feel confident in his role, offering him advice and reassurance. Both she and Ashley were very knowledgeable and open to whatever we had in mind for our birth plan. They provided resources to help guide us through the many decisions that we needed to make. Throughout the entire process they were sure to provide info and facilitate our decision making, but made sure my husband and I were making the decision that we were most comfortable with. They were available for all my questions and panicky random texts! Which was great bc there were plenty of those!

Shana has a vast knowledge of positions and comfort measures to help ease the discomfort of contractions and ease baby into the right position. She was assertive when I needed her to be and comforting when I needed that. Shana gave me confidence. She was always there when doubt crept in and provided just the right words to help me beat the doubt back and press forward.

I am so happy that I was able to have Shana with me throughout my pregnancy and especially through the birth of our son. She has been a great resource postpartum for breastfeeding and general mom questions! I thought I had a lot of questions during pregnancy but a newborn brings on a whole new slew of questions, and Shana is always there for me!

Shana was AMAZING! She not only answered my many questions, but she answered questions I didn't know I had. She understood my forgetful pregnant brain and had way more patience with me than she should have. Shana met with my husband and I in the comfort of our home a couple days before the birth of my son to make sure we had all of the at-home laboring techniques we needed to have a successful medication free birth. She met us in the hospital and immediately made the room feel calm and comfortable (exactly what I wanted) and was supportive during the pushing stages of labor (I was fully dialiated upon arriving at the hospital). She stayed to make sure breastfeeding was a success and has promtly answered all of my questions since birth. The postpartum visit was also helpful, and again- she answered questions I didnt know I had. I would definetly recommend Shana!
