As this was my first child and me being away from my family states away just really my husband by my side.
I figured a doula would be my best bet so I wouldn't be in the dark of all the things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
I always met with Paige and immediately liked her both my husband and I!
She is patient, very informative, professional, and great humor.
I am so fortunate to have her while I was pregnant, during my birth, and now postpartum.
Mother's eve company was very accommodating to me and my husband which I am very grateful for.
If I ever had a question about while pregnant or now postpartum about my daughter she quickly answers or answers when she can which helps when the doctors can take quite some time to get back to me.
Thank you Paige!!
Paige was a source of calm during the whole planning and birthing experience. She always had different ideas for pain management and moving positions during labor. She listened to me and helped my husband know how to help me! That was so important to us. Paige was exactly who we needed to feel confident during my birth! She made us feel comfortable and had answers to all of our questions. I gave birth at a birth center so I didn't need the advocacy you might need at a hospital, but I imagine she would be the perfect partner in that scenario. Thank you Paige!!
We’d HIGHLY recommend Paige! She went above and beyond our expectations! From the very beginning, she actively listened well to our concerns, needs, and desires. She provided all of the resources we felt we needed for our birth experience. My husband and I cannot imagine having another baby without her support. Every contraction she was by our side utilizing a massage gun and providing words of affirmation - the two coping mechanisms I requested. My husband and her were the dynamic duo providing wisdom on the best next steps throughout our labor experience to ensure we were progressing smoothly. Paige is full of patience, compassion, humor, authenticity, and love. I interviewed a lot of doulas in the DFW area and I couldn’t be more happy with my choice of working with Paige.
Paige has been such a blessing for me and my family, supporting us during the prenatal, delivery and postpartum periods. Her presence is so calming and empowering, which was exactly what we needed. My pregnancy threw us a couple of curveballs, but Paige was always ready with new suggestions and techniques to help through each stage. This made me so much more confident going into my son's delivery and I fully believe contributed to this pregnancy and recovery being so much easier than my first!
My experience with Paige as my doula was amazing! Being that this was my first birth, I was extremely nervous and always had so many questions throughout my pregnancy. She was my go-to for every question, she was ALWAYS there for me, no matter what time of the day. Her presence was so calming the day of my birth, and she really made me feel so much more at ease that day. Not only was she there for me during my whole pregnancy, but has been an amazing person to lean on postpartum. I'm on my second pregnancy now and couldn't imagine not having her throughout it all again. She's the best, and I will always recommend her to anyone who is expecting!
Let's be honest! She is the best!
She honored all my wishes and we went through hard times haha! But she helped me through everything! LIKE I SAID SHE IS THE BEST!
Hiring Paige was the best decision we made during the birth journey. There is no way I could have had a natural birth in a hospital without her committment and dedication to my every need. Each contraction, every moment coaching, communicating with the nurses for me and suggesting positions to move everything along all helped make the experience manageable. Her guidance throughout our meetings was evidence based and aligned with our birthing plan. To say she knows her stuff is an understatement and we loved being able to benefit from her expertise. My confidence in Paige alleviated so many unknowns and made my L&D experience as enjoyable as possible.
I feel my words alone are limited capturing the experience we had when hiring Paige as part of our support team. To paint more of the picture, Paige and my husband took turns offering counter pressure with every contraction and coaching me through those painfelt minutes. I could not believe the amount of unconditional support and care she provided for us prelabor, during all stages of labor, coaching me to push my son out and postpartum care. She stayed until we were comfortable on our own at the hospital when an unforseen circumstance came up and then continued to support me via text when I had questions about what was happening. We had some unpleasant experiences with how postpartum staff treated us and our son and I would check in with Paige on some of my concerns and she helped me understand advocating for our son in the hospital. I wish I could go back in time and have the same support team but at a birthing center. When it was all done and we had our bearings, the hardest part was not seeing her again! She supported me the way I hope all women and their partners can experience during such a monumental time in one's life.
There is SO MUCH good that I can share about Paige and her abilities as a doula! Hiring her as our doula was invaluable to me as a first-time Mom. She was an incredible resource to me and my husband throughout my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. A few things I love about Paige- her warm and authentic personality, her reliability (I could always depend on her to answer my questions or concerns no matter what time of day I contacted her), and her knowledge! Paige was a vital support for us at our daughter's birth and was instrumental in helping me transition between laboring positions that benefited me in the moment and helped me reduce my pain. With Paige's help I was able to construct a detailed birth plan and follow through with an unmedicated birth- something I have dreamed about and hoped for. Paige is an amazing advocate for mothers and is the best!
Paige was a great addition to my natural birthing experience. She helped me cope with my pain and increased mine and my husbands confidence preparing us for labor of our baby boy.
I met Paige when I was a Labor & Delivery Nurse and Student Nurse Midwife. We collaborated on a patient that had been struggling through the day and we were able to get her delivered during the night-through this patient, an epic team was born. Once I began working as a CNM, she became my go-to doula referral. My patients always loved her and we have had some pretty incredible deliveries. She keeps me updated while they are laboring at home and I'm able to send her tips or tricks as needed, then we come together beautifully to support families once they are admitted. Of course, when it was time for my own birth, there was no one else I would consider. I have had two prior cesarean deliveries and wanted a VBAC so badly. I knew I would need someone to keep me from over-analyzing every part of my own labor and to be my rock and advocate since this was a surrogate pregnancy. Of course hiccups arose and I had to be induced, but we managed to make the best of the situation and she was exactly what I needed. She impressed my husband and the intended parents beyond what they could have possibly imagined and supported me through a very long and hard labor. We celebrated my successful dream delivery together and are even more tightly bonded than before. I wouldn't hesistate to refer any patient her way and am so grateful for her skills, passion, and presence.
My husband and I are new to Texas with no family for support in the area, and when I found out I was pregnant (at 41), I felt lost not knowing a thing about labor and postpartum preparation. I read books and researched labor on the internet, but still felt overwhelmed and ill-prepared. A friend suggested a Doula. I didn't know what that was, but it sounded expensive. Nevertheless, after some failed attempts to feel confident about a solid birth plan, and feeling defeated, I contacted Paige, who was recommended by my trusted midwife. From the very start, Paige was easy to talk to, kind, sensitive and supportive of our feelings and requests, highly knowledgeable, dependable, and professional.
After our first consultation (which we requested to be video), we both agreed that she was the person for the job. The funny thing is, my husband wanted to hire Paige to support me, and I wanted to hire Paige to support my husband. And we were both right. At that moment, we had no idea what challenges were lying ahead. I'll spare you the awful horror story of my over 40 hours of labor, emergency c-section, and also the postpartum emergency stay in the hospital. To this day, my husband and I talk about how that hiring Paige was the best investment we've ever made. We thought that hiring a doula meant that someone was helping us for a few hours advocating for us with the hospital staff, but Paige's services far exceed those expectations. Many times, I had to ask Paige "What do you think?" Especially while I was laboring and dealing with medical issues and jargon that I did not understand. When you have to make important decisions in a pinch, it is invaluable to have a knowledgeable advocate you trust standing with you in the ring.
Best wishes for a safe and joyous delivery!
There's so much I can say about this wonderful woman! She was so knowledgeable, kind and supportive during my pregnancy. Anytime I needed anything or had a question she was there ready and willing to help. Although things did not go as planned with my birth she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed and that my baby and I made it safely. Even after my birth she's kept in touch and even brought by gifts. I promise if you're hesistant about hiring a doula she will make you feel so at ease. When I am Blessed to have another child she will be the first person that I call. Thank you Paige!!!
Best. Decision. Ever. Just do it.
Would you climb Mount Everest without a guide? No. Case and point.
As a first-time mom every single woman in my life felt it necessary to tell me every single thing that could possibly go wrong during my pregnancy and my labor (WHY??? Don't be that person). Every single birth story and the journey is different, but babies are all born in generally the same way, why wouldn't you have a professional with you by your side???
I truly can not express in words the impact of having Paige with me through my birthing process was. I was pretty late in my pregnancy before I even heard of what a doula was, my only regret was not finding out sooner and having her with me longer.
Not only was she extremely helpful getting things organized and done around the house preparing for my son's arrival I would credit her being with us as the only reason we were able to have a successful vaginal birth, without being pushed into an unnecessary C-Section. She stood by us as a trusted advisor and helped make us comfortable with the informed decisions we were making about my care. Which at times went against what the nurses "wanted" to do. I was so extremely thankful to have someone to turn to in those moments of doubt, not just for reassurance but for practical advice.
I know my story would be completely different without Paige by our side. If you are on the fence, let me assure you having a skilled, knowledgeable, peace-bringing advocate in your corer through this journey is priceless, even if this isn't your first rodeo.
Just do it.
Paige is an amazing doula. She made me feel comfortable when I first met her and throughout my labor process which is very important to me. She even did a follow up visit a few days after I was home. Paige is warm and very knowledgeable. She is good at keeping in touch with you and making sure you get the best out of your birth experience. I really don't know how I would've handled my unmedicated birth without her. I am very serious!
She made me feel confident and answered all my questions before and after giving birth and also provided placenta encapsulation which I benefited from.
Overall i had a positive experience and I am extremely thankful that she was recommended to me so I will do the same and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good doula with such a peaceful and warm personality.
Thank You Paige!
Paige was an incredible support during my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum. She was always available to answer any random questions I had, and was wonderful at my birth. Paige advocated for me and kept in contact with my midwife regarding my progress. When I felt like giving up, she motivated me and came up with ideas to keep me going. She created the calming environment I wanted in the hospital, and I had the medication-free birth I desired. I truly don't know if they would have been possible without her by my side; Paige is awesome!
Paige was amazing! We couldn't have imagined a better experience. She is personal and welcoming. She explained options and supported us in making decisions that were best for our family.
In addition, I was induced on a Sunday evening and our little one didn't arrive until 12:09 am on Wednesday. Paige was with us during critical times and assisted us with navigating options. We highly recommend her and couldn't imagine her not being part of our future births.
If you are in search of a young and relatable doula who also really knows what she's doing and won't let you feel vulnerable, consider to have Paige on your birth team. Not only did we have a lot of fun on our prenatal visits, but she also somehow made labor fun (as fun as it can be, lol!). Most importantly, she also provided the support that both me and my partner needed. I could not have gotten as far as I did in labor without Paige!
