Megan attended the birth of my second child. She was hands-on, warm, and highly in-tune with my ever changing needs. This was not my first birth but it was my first with a doula and I will never birth without one, more specifically her, if possible, again! She brought so much comfort to me with either her touch, words of affirmation or simply holding space for me. Megan has Spinning Babies experience and offered suggestions (sifting) when I said I needed help getting my daughter down lower into the birth canal (little girl was kicking my ribs trying to get into place); and it helped immensely!
I highly recommend Megan as a doula. She is very talented and supportive. Her during labor services are spectacular and her post-partum care is equally helpful! Adjusting to life with a newborn is hard for a person and a family and she holds space for you to work through that transition. She is simply priceless.

Megan was really wonderful and had great information to share and exercises to do to help me get comfortable in my very pregnant body. I really appreciated her way of getting my husband involved in my care and comfort and made me feel less like a nag and more justified with my frequent requests for massages from him. During labor she quickly adjusted to my needs. And to my pleasant surprise, she had captured photos throughout my labor and delivery that I cherish dearly. Her cherry on top are her incredible hugs- 5 star status!

Megan was my Doula for the birth of my son (January 15th).
Megan was such a calming presence during the entire process.
I had a very traumatic emergency c-section with my previous child and Megan helped me work through those feelings prior to the birth of my son.
Megan was supportive and there for me every step of the way, even sleeping on my couch during a night of “false” labor.
Megan arrived at my home just a few minutes after I called to tell her that this was the “real deal”. The minute she arrived she was hands on and ready to go. It felt as if Megan could sense my needs/wishes before I even knew them myself.
In my most doubtful moment during my labor, Megan held my hands and looked into my eyes and gave me such confidence that everything was going to be okay. It was the boost that I need to get me through.
Megan was great with our other child and jumped right in with helping get her food, comfort her and even helped her process all of the things that she had just witnessed on an amazing two year old level.
Megan celebrated with us by singing “Happy Birthday” and Overall, the experience was a fun one (who says that about birth? But it was!)and Megan played a huge part in that.
I would definitely recommend Megan to any woman looking for support during pregnancy and labor. Megan is used to working with all kinds of different people and can accommodate a wide variety of differing lifestyles.
