Brandie Fleming is an amazingly attentive and caring person. A true warm heart and soul. With family unable to attend the birth of our daughter, looking back at it Brandie was the confidant we needed even someone we can now call a friend.

From the moment we first reached out to Brandie, we connected immediately . She kept us updated with her plans and always kept her appointments.

Considering our modest views, when Brandie came to our home to work with us, we felt relaxed.

She was non judgmental with what seemed to be an infinite source of knowledge & resources. She showed us different labor positions, which when I started to have my contractions the exercises she gave showed us worked wonders.

But, lets get into the heart of it.

My pregnancy lasted 42 weeks. Normal or not, that’s a long time, and I was nervous.

My midwife called me two days before my induction (with which whom (the team) Brandie worked flawlessly alongside) and asked if we’d be interested in coming in early because L&D was empty. Of course I say, two hours from now, yes!!

So I’m rushing home to get things into the car so that we can head to the hospital. I called Brandie and notified her of the change of plans and of course she was nothing but supportive.

She showed up shortly after my arrival and stayed for the duration. My 7 year old really wanted to be involved and attend the delivery and Brandie kept him entertained while still coaching my spouse and I through contractions.

If we were to do it again we wouldn’t want to do it without her & we HIGHLY recommend her support & services to anyone birthing a child.

Thank you for everything Brandie! We hope to see you soon!

After many attempts in trying to find a doula for my first birth, I finally came across Brandie. After speaking with her for only a couple of hours, I knew that she was the one I wanted to be my doula! Brandie is kind, friendly and has such a welcoming and warm aura about her that you just feel like you’ve known her forever. She was very hands-on with me and truly cared about how I felt and how I wanted my birth plan to be. Before giving birth, Brandie showed me exercises to help for when I went into labor, showed me massages she could do and asked about my birth plan. During my labor and birth, she was great with encouraging me to walk around to ease my labor pains and helped tremendously with my breathing techniques. Even when I thought I couldn’t do something or the pain would take over, Brandie had nothing but encouraging words to say and pushed me to keep going which truly helped me all the way to the end. I don’t think I could have done it without her, as far as not getting an epidural/giving birth naturally but honestly, even if I could have, I wouldn’t have wanted to. Brandie is amazing and I have nothing but love for her, I felt like I had a friend with me the entire time. I am 100% grateful to have had her as my birth doula and I will always have great memories of my labor/ birth because of her!

Brandie is a phenomenal doula! From the moment my husband and I met her we knew she would be perfect for our water birth journey. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and worked very well with our midwife. She has such a calming energy that resonates beyond expectation. I feel like we’ve known each other for years and competly trusted her. During my birth, she helped coach me through each contraction and kept the atmosphere calm and relaxed. The entire time Brandie was professional and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She was very responsive and ready when I needed her at 2 AM when my baby girl decided to make her way into the world. I also really appreciated how great she was with our 1 year old and how she included her in the process every step of the way. Brandie is the best coach and cheerleader you could hope/ask for during a pregnancy. I highly recommend Brandie and will request her for any of my future births.

I met Brandie Fleming while in a general interest meeting for a missions trip to Guatemala. Everyone had chance to share their goals, current career and things they desired to do, that's where I learned of her being a Doula. This was my first pregnancy and it started out very easy, yet around 6 months I went into preterm labor, finding out later that I had Lupus and the pregnancy activated the disease. Brandie went from being my doula to my bereavement doula. It was the most difficult part of my life loosing my son. However she was there with me before the labor, during the labor and after as well, never leaving my side. Her gentleness and passion for this profession showed in her words, actions, patience and her knowledge! WOW! She turned many of my tears into smiles and laughter. The best part was her taking time to follow up with me after I healed and allowing me to reach out if I needed someone to talk to. She will be my doula for my next pregnancy and I am forever grateful for her service.

In 2017 i was pregnant with my first child. I had made it clear that I wanted to have my baby naturally and at a birth center. The birth center I chose was Embrace Midwifery Care and Birth Center. I didnt know exactly how I was going to manange the pain of labor and delivery but I knew that I needed someone who would be able to help me through it and support me. Through the birth center I was paired with a doula and she was the perfect match for me. Brandie became my doula. I was one of her first clients. I want to say that she was amazing right from the start. From the first meeting I could sense how genuine and caring she was and I knew that with her I would be in good hands. She made sure she had everything I would need for my delivery to make sure it was as smooth as possible, she made sure she talked with me to know exactly the things that needeed to be comfortable and have a great birthing experiecnce. On the day of my delivery Brandie was right on time and right by my side the whole way through. She coached me through the pain and helped me relieve pain through various techniques. My labor became hard towards the end and I had started to doubt myself and the goals I had set for my self and I almost gave up but Brandie reminded me how much I wanted to have my child natural and how much it meant to me. She comforted me at that moment when I thought I couldnt go on. With her hel I was ablt to push through and see it to the end. I needed her in that moment and I'm certain no one else would have been able to ease me enough to keep me going. I am so grateful to have had Brandie as my doula, because not only did she perform amazing as my doula but she also became a really good friend. This is definetly her purpose in life and I am glad I was able to witness her come into her calling.
