I contacted Sara in my last trimester. Even though I was near the end of my pregnancy she still accepted to become our Doula! It goes to say that no matter what stage in your pregnancy it's never too late to find someone. If I did anything right while pregnant was to hire Sara. She was there for me when I needed her, no matter what time a day (or night). She was and is (still communicate with her ;) ) so understanding and never judges any question even though you might think it's a dumb one. She makes me feel comfortable to ask or talk about ANYTHING. NEVER made me feel weird about any questions or concerns I had. She's very knowledgeable and informative. Will support you no matter the decision and will provide the tools for you to be aware of your options whatever your situation may be. I was on early stage of labor, was induced and contractions were closed together so there was some uncertainty on what was going to happen and how soon. To my surprise she had been in the parking lot waiting for me to tell her when I was ready for her to join me. It was even storming!!Sara stayed by my side and gave me support every step of the way.  She went above and beyond to ensure I was confortable and grounded. I suffer from anxiety so she took that into consideration. She really helped tremendously with my anxiety during pregnancy and birth! I could go on and on about how wonderful Sara is. I could not tell you how important a doula can be and even more if your a first time mom or don't have support from others. You will not regret it. The best decision I made for me and my baby was to hire her. ( Because of her support with my anxiety I didn't have to take Zoloft which had potential side effects and hurt my baby and me) so it really changed my life for the best!!!!
