I am so happy that I met Nancy during my pregnancy. She prepared me for labor better than I ever thought possible. Pre birth sessions and classes were much fun with her. She was a rock during my turmoil and pain and when I look back on that day, I always think of her. I embraced her through deep painful contractions, she held my hand and I took cues from her through the pushes. She kept me for used and mentally strong.
I surely feel blessed to having her there at that special moment and also during my postpartum. And the most beautiful thing is that she became my best friend since the day we met. We love so much Nancy!

Wow! where do i even begin? Nancy is the most amazing person i've ever met. she made my birthing experience everything i could have wanted and more. Nancy has a heart of gold and a boat load of empathy. After meeting Nancy i can truly say she saved my life, there were many times where i didn't think i'd make it through my dark times and nancy was always there like a beacon of light guiding me through.
I met Nancy when I was 5 months pregnant and she is by far the most involved and supportive doula I have ever met. She not only gives birthing support but also emotional and she offers advice with everyday life experiences. Nancy goes out of her way to ensure you and your child or children are cared for and showered with love. She is an excellent advocate and mentor. I was actually considering getting a African American doula because of cultural reasons but Nancy showed me she was knowledgeable about the mortality rates for Black women during child birth and she backed that up with making sure that everything that I was uncomfortable asking she asked for me. Or if they tried to dismiss my pains and anxiety she made sure I was heard. Nancy became even more amazing after I gave birth. She brought over vitamins helped me get on a schedule with my twins and made sure I was following all the rules of the doctors. Thank you for allowing her to help me in the most crucial part of my life. She is a Godsend and a blessing among everyone.
Nancy was a wonderful doula. She was thoughtful and calming and had some great tips for aftercare. We used some of her ideas and they helped put our daughter to sleep.
Nancy was the most unexpected gift to come into my life when I was pregnant, and I am grateful every day to have her in my life. I was in a drug and alcohol treatment center when I met her by chance on an outing one day, I was in a different state from home, and felt very alone. But after we met and got approval from my counselor and the Executive Director of the program I was in, I saw her nearly every week, and when I got closer to the end of my pregnancy, it was nearly every day.I was able to talk to her about all of my fears - the delivery, I was choosing to have a natural delivery, fear of the future - I was placing my daughter for adoption, and had a lot of feelings about the process and how I would feel after. Nancy was so supportive through every step of the way. When the time for delivery came, I was being induced, she picked me and another girl from the treatment center up, and the three of us spent the whole day together, and with my family. We walked laps around the delivery ward, laughed, watched tv, and emotionally and physically tried to prepare for the moment. She was so intuned to my needs, even before I realized what I need. She was an advocate for me when I felt uncomfortable speaking for myself. When my labor felt too intense, she was right there telling me that it was okay to ask for an epidural, even though I was trying so hard to do without. The anesthesiologist didn't make it in time, and in minutes from the time my water broke to delivery, she was right behind me, and helped me catch the baby when she was born, and tell me how great of a job I did. She even stayed overnight in the hospital, helping care for the baby so I could rest afterwards. And our relationship didn't end there. She continued to come to the center to see me after delivery, and we still talk to this day.Without Nancy's support I don't know how I would have gotten through the process. It was the best birth experience I could have had.
