There are not enough words to describe what Kirsten meant to us. When I first arrived at the hospital, I thought I wanted privacy, but when labor escalated, she came back without hesitation, and from that moment, she was our calm in the storm. She helped us navigate a failed epidural, hours of uncertainty, and the physical and emotional exhaustion we both felt. She quietly guided us, offering comfort measures, helping me into positions to encourage progress, and holding my hand when I was scared. She reassured my husband when everything felt out of control, and her presence made us feel safe when nothing else did. Even when she had to gently prepare us for difficult possibilities, she did so with honesty, grace, and kindness. After nearly30 hours of labor, it ended in an emergency C-section. He had the cord wrapped around his neck. It was terrifying, but she was our advocate, our guide, and our light through it all. She is truly an angel on Earth. Her compassion, intuition, and strength are gifts. If we are blessed enough to have another baby someday, I would only do it with her by our side. I would choose her again in a heartbeat. She wasn’t just our doula, she became an unforgettable part of our family’s story, and we will spend the rest of our lives recommending her.
