My husband and I moved to the Tucson area when our daughter was 9 months old.  Six months later when I was STILL suffering from post-partum depression, I needed help badly.  Thank goodness I found out about Kayla!  I was worried that it might be too long since I gave birth for her to help, but I had nothing to lose.  I really did gain everything!  From our very first meeting Kayla was warm and honest with me.  She turned out to be a teacher, healer, nurse, therapist, life coach, guiding light, and more! Kayla listened to me with every molecule of her being and at no point did I ever feel judged.  She helped me with everything from my self-esteem and self-care to nutrition and time management.  She brought me information, resources, supplements, etc.  I truly felt like my healing was as important to Kayla as it was to me and my family!  I can’t recommend Kayla enough and I would say that my only regret is that I didn’t live here and have her back when I was giving birth!  Please give yourself the blessing of working with her no matter how many children you may have and where in the pre or post-partum journey you are!

Kayla became part of my life while I was pregnant with my second child. I had an extremely rough pregnancy with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and she came over just sit with me and talk through some of the issues I was having, brought me a bunch of goodies to help me feel better, and just lifted my spirits. We talked about my post birth plans, and while I thought it would be nice to have a postpartum doula I didn't think at the time that it would be that necessary. I had had a child before and I knew what to expect so the second one, I thought, was going to be no problem. Well I was wrong. Way wrong. A few weeks after birth I called Kayla practically crying and she immediately made a plan to come over and help me get through some rough days. She listened to me and helped me talk through what was going on. She gave me a lot of helpful tips and advice and again some great goodies to help me heal and be a better mom. She helped me make time for myself so that I could cope with my post partum depression. My postpartum was tough, and having her as a postpartum doula for a few weeks was a game changer.
She is full of knowledge, and if she doesn't know the answer to your question she's going to research the heck out of it and get back to you. She's like a long-lost sister that you've always wanted, one that is very nurturing, helpful and kind. I cant recommend her enough. Whether you're on your first kid or your 5th, do yourself a favor and contact Kayla!
