Adding Lacey to our team was the best decision we made during my pregnancy. We planned for an unmedicated natural child birth and she was supportive for that. She spend time to know about us before delivery and provided information which made us comfortable. My labour was fast and had difficulty in coping with the process. But Lacey stood beside me the whole time and helped with positions and used acupressure to ease my pain. When I felt that I cannot do an unmedicated labour, she remembered our deal and said “Look into my eyes. You are strong and you can do it. We are going to do this for baby”. Her words were encouraging and unforgettable. She supported my husband and my mom emotionally and made them confident that I am going to be okay. Lacey helped us in capturing our precious moments during delivery. Her postpartum visits were invaluable. I am really happy that she was a part of my experience.

Lacey is one amazing doula! From our first meeting I knew right there she was the one to help my boyfriend allan and i along this journey since this was our first pregnancy. I feel like she knew me so well like we have been friends for years! She always checked in on me to see how I was doing, how I was feeling and how my appointments went. When labor came allan and i could not have done it without her! She was always supportive with my decisions. Lacey was my voice when i was deeply into concentrating on my contractions and using my breathing techniques. The different positions she helped with, the hip pressure and the lower back massage was so helpful to get through contractions. She just kne the right thing to do at the right time. When I was at the point of giving up she was there by my side encouraging me that I can do it and believing in my self and body. Lacey is an absolute amazing birth couch im so blessed to have her along the journey of bringing our baby boy into this world!

Lacey was our doula for the birth of our little girl. She was amazing! Very knowledgable in our pre-delivery meetings from any questions we had about our birth plan to saving our placenta or laboring positions. If she didn't have the answer when we met she always followed up with some resources. Lacey was great during our labor process. She always had a calm presence and suggested new and creative laboring positions to help the process move along naturally. Lacey was great with massage and directing pressure on specific parts to help alleviate pain and get me through my contractions. She was also a huge resource after the birth on postpartumn resources and information. It was helpful to have her visit and give us support around breast feeding and transitioning into parenthood. I am so grateful to have her as part of our birth team. Myself and my husband could not have gotten through it without her.  I highly recommend you connect with Lacey for your next birth!

If you read no further, know that i cannot imagine the delievery of my beautiful daughter Georgia without the wonderful support of our doulas, Liisa and Lacey. We were expecting and my wife Joy wanted a doula. I came into this doula thing skeptical. In hindsight it should have been my idea. Liisa and Lacey made us comfortable from our very first meeting. We were fortunate to have a duo of doulas. I loved the way they focused on Joy. In our time with them prior to the birth they shared their knowledge and experience as they helped us with our birth plan. This was very reassuring to Joy and I. Then came the frying pan. Joy's water broke and she went into labor immediately. I texted with Liisa and Lacey. This communication and coordination made me feel confident, like we were a team. When we felt it was time, we asked them to come to the hospital. The next 16-18 hours was the most wonderful and difficult experience in my life. Liissa and Lacey's calm supportive energy, hands on endurance, gentle guidance and loving kindness is forever part of the best day of my life. Beyond their great skills facilitating and supporting Joy's labor, their support enabled me to have a great experience as i became a new father. Looking back, i can't imagine Georgia's birth without them. Never once have i thought, ' i wish they did this, or this bothered me, or why didn't they?.....'. I have been very fortunate in my life. Having Liisa and Lacey as our doulas is just another example of my ridiculous good fortune. Experiencing the birth of my beautiful, healthy Georgia was big deal. The people you have with you in that journey are a big deal. I highly recommend doulas Liisa and Lacey. I am grateful for them.
