I can't speak highly enough about Katrina. From the time we chose her as our doula throughout the two months she spent with our family, she was incredibly supportive. Right from our first call, I felt like she truly understood what we wanted for our postpartum journey.

Once we were home, she was amazing at knowing our needs at night and helping us learn how to care for our baby. When I felt like breastfeeding wasn't working and our pediatrician was putting pressure on me about our baby's slow weight gain, she sat with us and observed our feeding. She helped us to understand the right questions to ask.

By the time her contract ended, our son was in a great routine and we were sleeping well, too. She never imposed any particular parenting style on us; she just supported me and my baby equally with thoughtful, genuine care. Her rates were higher than other doulas we interviewed, but it was the best investment we made.

I dont even know where to begin. Katrina is a goddess and if more people were like her the earth would be a better place. I admittedly come from a wild background and was a bit blindsided by expected parenthood. I met Katrina through a birthing class that my daughters mother signed us up for and she was an instant blessing in our lives. Not only did her patient and non-judgmental demeanor help to boost our confidence that we could handle child birth and parenting, but her presence through the pregnancy and at our daughters birth was helpful in ways that defy description. Katrina is an absolute treasure chest of knowledge and possesses the vocabulary and patience needed to share this knoweldge with anyone. I have no doubt that Katrina helped to give me the perspective i needed to become the father i am today. Even in that brief time that our paths cross she made an impact on me that still plays a role in the choices and decisions i make as a father almost six years later. If you have the good fate to have an opportunity to work with Katrina, just thank the stars and take the blessing.

Katrina was my postpartum doula in March 2016 when my first child was born. I ended up with a last minute C-section which resulted in a tough recovery. Katrina was very helpful and supportive during this time bringing forth a calm and stable energy when she would visit my family. I appreciated her practical, no nonsense approach to new Motherhood because she was very considerate of our feelings and priorities when we brought our daughter home. In my search for a PP Doula, it was a priority for me to find someone who was also a Mother. Katrina is very knowledgable in areas that are not discussed often because she has personal experience with them: C-sections, premature birth, twins, and other issues that are struggles for new parents. Futhermore, she provided a plethora of resources including a prenatal massage therapist, acupuncturist, and a lactation consultant to name a few. Above everything, Katrina has become a friend to our family and naturally, she is someone he highly endorse to all families for work as a PP Doula.
