Dez is the best Doula you can ask for! She made my birth experience empowering and peaceful. She is excellent at being hands-on and knowing exactly what your body needs to deal with the intensity of laboring she was excellent at helping me through a twin vaginal birth, including Twin B being breach. My doctor felt comfortable having her in the OR with us when I was pushing. She is very knowledgeable and supportive. I truly appreciate her going out of her way to help me during my postpartum period,especially when I had both boys in NICU before taking both of them home on oxygen.

We are so incredibly grateful Dez was there to support us for such a pivotal moment as first time parents. Dez helped us prepare so well leading up to our birth, and had such an impact on how we worked together— we were able to stay grounded and calm when it was go-time (even when things progressed much faster than expected). Im so happy with how our birth went. Our journey into parenthood was so rewarding and we will forever hold a special place in our hearts for Dez and the 10+ years of experience brought to support us!

Dez was amazing to work with. My husband and I met with a few doulas and chose Dez because we felt most comfortable around her. Dez was a great support for me and my husband. Leading up to the birth, we met a couple of times and Dez gave us some comfort measures to work on and gave us great resources about different stages of labor. We felt in control of my birth and it would not have gone as smoothly without her. I'm a first time mom and my labor went FAST, only 6 hours. If Dez wasn't there, I would have accidentally given birth at home or in my husband's truck. I wanted to try a water birth but was nervous about home birth so Dez told me about the Sinply Birth program at Layton Hospital. I was able to have my dream birth thanks to her!

Doula's are so amazing, the do so much mre than I could have ever thought.  Our experience with Dez was so wonderful, she knew so much about what was going on with everything.  Dez stayed through the long labor and took turns helping me with comfort messures which are a lot harder than you would think to keep doing for hours.  I am so greatful for Dez and her hard work and knowledge, I would have been so lost had she had not been there for us.  Birth is hard and scary but she helped put us at ease.  Doula's are so important and I think that everyone should have one help them bring their precious children into this world.  I highly recommend Dez as a doula. she is a hero, thank you so much Dez we love you!
