Brittany is incredibly knowledgeable about the birthing process and what to expect throughout each phase of labor. I really appreciated her expertise and pain management strategies/tips she offered during labor. Brittany also provided a calm and comforting vibe in the delivery room which was helpful. She also made herself readily available for any questions/concerns prior to and after the birth, providing us with great continuity of care.

We cherished having Brittany attend our son’s birth as our support doula. She is a warm, caring person with a calming energy.  She is also very knowledgeable and could answer my many questions during the long labor experience.  Brittany is a great communicator and before the birth she kept us informed of changing hospital policies in light of COVID-19.  We appreciated the heads up she gave us so that we were aware of the hospital restrictions going in ahead of time and wouldn’t be caught off guard.  We weren’t sure which doctor from our OB office would ultimately deliver our baby, so it was comforting to know that Brittany would be a familiar face and source of support and coaching for both me and my husband to help us through the labor phase and birth.  Brittany captured the tender first moments when our family was united after the birth of our son in photos, as we had asked for her help to do.  I am grateful to have those precious moments captured in photos that we can look back on.  I would highly recommend Brittany to others looking for doula support for their upcoming baby’s birth.

Brittany helped us deliver our first child. She was knowledgeable, prompt and very supportive. Very easy going and really put us at ease during the birthing process. Thank you very much Brittany.

Brittany was with me from right after I got my epidural through the birth of my baby girl. Though there wasn't much to do during the waiting period before active labor because of a very efficient epidural (??) once I started pushing it was great having her support! Brittany counted me through all three hours of pushing and continuously reminded me I could do it, even when I very much wanted to give up. I recommend Brittany for her knowledge, calm and  overall positive vibe!

In the days leading up to giving birth in the middle of a global pandemic, it was very clear that my rough "birth plan" was going to have to flex a bit. We had secured another doula through the Rose Babies Doula program in early February, but she was unable to make it due to health concerns, so Brittany cheerily stepped in with very little lead time.

It wasn't until the second phase of my induction and the start of active labor did I truly understand Brittany's invaluable approach to being a birth partner. The moment she stepped into the room, she helped me to the bath, where I actively labored with her by my side for 8 long hours before opting for an epidural so I could get some sleep.

Her calming, supportive nature also allowed for my husband to get some rest, which turned out to also be imperative - after a total of 40 hours of labor, and 24 hours of active labor, my husband's partnership through two critical contractions helped me *narrowly* avoid a cesarean birth.

Which is all to say, I know for certain that my labor and birth story would have been wildly different if we hadn't had Brittany's expertise, compassion and support for the time that we did. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a wonderfully gracious, patient, knowledgable and non-judgmental birthing partner!

Brittany was a wonderful presence during our birth experience.  It was my third birth which I've heard described as the "wild card" birth so wasn't sure what to expect going in, but hoped for another unmedicated delivery.

Brittany met us at the hospital and stayed with us through every stage of my rollercoaster labor, which ranged from slow and laid back to totally stalled to a fast and furious finish.  She was extremely supportive of all of my wishes.  Throughout the many hours, she was able to help me process my emotions and communicate clearly with doctors and nurses.  When contractions picked up she offered a variety of pain management techniques including guided breathing, counter-pressure, aromatherapy, and birthing balls.

In the end, I was overjoyed with how my birth unfolded and wouldn't have changed a thing.  Labor can be so unpredictable and the stability and calm that Brittany provided was a huge help.  We are forever grateful for the role she played in our daughter's birth story and highly recommend her.
