Marie is wonderful, caring, and was the perfect person to have around as our postpartum doula as we transitioned into parenthood. We felt very comfortable with her around, and often felt like Marie was just a friend or family member helping us out! She was open to helping us with anything we needed from light household tasks, walking our dog, soothing baby, and even giving mama a massage! Marie had a very flexible schedule as well, which was great if we needed her at different times through the week. We highly recommend her with no hesitations and you and your baby will be in good hands with Marie around!

Marie's support through an anxious pregnancy and labour were invaluable. After a late pregnancy loss, I knew I wanted any extra support I could get through my subsequent pregnancy and birth experience. Marie went above and beyond, sending encouraging messages, dropping off resources and sharing her wisdom and unconditional support. Her support during labour was outstanding, as she met my every need and offered consistent encouragement. The tens machine she loaned me was top notch in getting me through early labour.  I would wholeheartedly recommend Marie's services to anyone!

Marie provided amazing support to my husband and I with the birth of our first daughter. I was feeling very anxious about the birth and having support after the birth (we are immigrants and don't have family nearby). I'm so glad we decided to work with Marie as she provided invaluable support to us.

Marie was very responsive, sensitive, caring, knowledgable and trustworthy. Before my daughter's birth we had meetings with Marie to prepare for the birth. The information she shared was so helpful and made me feel more confident about what to expect during and after the birth. With the birth of my daughter I experienced complications which made caring for my daughter extremely difficult during the first week. Marie was absolutely amazing in terms of the post-partum support she provided to us. I can confidently say that we could not have survived that first week without her! Marie was available to us whenever we needed her and was more than happy to accomodate our changing needs and circumstances. On more than one occasion I contacted Marie and asked if she could help us even though it was outside of the hours/days we initially agreed to. She did not hesitate to provide support in whatever way we needed. She was also great with my baby girl. I did not have any concerns leaving my daughter with her. I also loved the fact that Marie showed me how to massage my baby, which has been so helpful!

I would not hesitate to recommend Marie as a doula to any family in need of amazing doula support!

We decided to go for doula services much later during my pregnancy and found about Marie as a close match to our needs. She was definitely very professional to interact with us over a video call, explain us the scope of work and things she can assist us with. 
A well drafted and detailed proposal/agreement followed after this conversation and we worked our schedule seamlessly. 
Marie then visited our place some days before delivery just to familiarize herself with the building and the apprartment. This was really a good thing to to. 

My delivery was delayed by 4 days and we knew that Marie had already mentioned about a couple of days she's not available to come. But once she was back and started visiting us, we were so much relieved. As a new mother, I has so many questions, which she patiently answered. Her pesence was calming to me. She took care of me, cared a lot for the baby and had conversations that allowed me and my husband to feel confident about handling the baby. 

She was very quick with the household chores that we asked her to do. She taught me baby massage using dolls and supervised while I massaged the baby. This was such a nice gesture. We've already referred her to several expecting mothers and would continue to do so. 

As a new mother, without family being present around, Marie's presence was really comforting. She is punctual and communicates in advance for any schedule changes. We easily worked out all the schuedules and things were great.

Hiring Marie was the best decision we made to set us up for success for the birth of our son! She supported us every step of the way, from before birth with helpful resources and writing out our birth plan, during my 15 hours of labor, and after my son's birth as well. During labor, there was a lot happening, and the peace of mind we got by having Marie there to support us and help us navigate the process was priceless. She was a fantastic advocate for us throughout. I never needed to worry about my husband as I knew Marie was right there to help him, which allowed me to focus on my labor. During the final few hours before the pushing stage, I started to not cope as well with the contractions so I agreed to an epidural. We waited a couple hours for the anesthesiologist as he was in the OR and by the time he arrived, I was 10 cm and it was pushing time. Just the thought of the epidural 'lifeline' and having Marie and my husband there to support me helped get me through those hours. Furthermore, Marie's calming voice counting down during each push and contraction was super helpful to keep me focused during the 3+ hours of pushing and 20+ minutes of crowning. I didn't need to worry about running out of energy during pushing as Marie kept giving me juice (this was a game changer as I had only 3 hours of sleep the night before). I remember Marie kept wiping my forehead with a cool peppermint scented cloth which was really soothing. I can honestly say if Marie (and of course my husband) weren't there during the final few hours of labor and the pushing stage, I would've given up and likely could've ended up with a C Section delivery. Marie's help was monumental for being able to get him out naturally! I can't emphasize enough the importance of having a doula to help guide you along the journey of pregnancy, labor and birth. You won't regret hiring Marie. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Marie!

Marie was our doula for my second baby. My husband and I loved having her support us at our recent birth. My first baby was born 9 years ago in China. I kind of forgot how the pregnancy was, but I did remember the birth experience was not pleasant at that time. So we hoped to hire a doula for a better experience this time.

We decided to have Marie as our doula right after we face-timed with her the first time because she was so calming and had a ton of knowledge. I felt reassured knowing we'd have someone experienced there for me.

Marie was a great supporter throughout my entire pregnancy, birth and postpartum. She is always available to answer questions or provide additional info. When I talked, she listened, when I worried, she comforted, when I panicked, she calmed me.

I also really appreciated how she checked in with us a few times once we were home, sent us photos that she had snapped of the birth, sent me flowers and even offered me a postpartum massage and brought a very nice gift for my baby.

I highly recommend Marie to anyone thinking of hiring a doula.

As a first time mama I had a lot of questions. Marie kindly responded to all of them. She was helpful, nice and informative. When I first interviewed with her I was hesitant if I should go with a midwife or I should stick to my family doctor as she was specialized in births. Marie helped me to decide according to my personality and situation. She always spoke from her experience but stayed in a neutral position.

Marie's postnatal two appointments were great. Both the zoom call and the visit. She was very informative and made us feel calm. She provided me with tools and resources that could help me with more questions that could arise. I went through early labour on my own as I followed her advice on going through this stage as calm as possible and staying home as long as I could. Early labour lasted about 48 hours until I needed to go to the hospital. Once at the hospital my husband called Marie. Meanwhile I decided we needed to go with a c-section as a situation came up and doctors needed me to make a decision. Marie was there before I got the drugs to go into the OR. She was supportive and kind to me and my husband. She was there until I came out of the surgery and made sure everything looked good. Her postpartum services were also great. She gave me my time, gave me a nice massage and even taught me how to do infant massage. Overall, we were very happy with her Doula services!

Marie is very kind, gentle, flexible, and knowledgeable. I’m very grateful to have her in our birthing space. She takes the extra time and effort to make sure that I feel comfortable to be heard, acknowledge, validate with my birthing plan. Before the birth of my son, my greatest worries was my children who was present during my homebirth on how they react with who would be present while I was in labour but was quickly diminished as my children clearly loved having Marie present during prenatal, birth, and postpartum visit. I can’t thank her enough for being there for my family and I.

Marie has always been very personal in her interactions with me. Whatever questions  at whatever  time I had she would always sent me prompt replies. My labour which was such a long one and because of the pandemic going on, my mother wasnt allowed to be with me, marie was the person present with me.

Marie was so lovely to have as apart of my birth team. She took extra time both during my pregnancy and afterward to encourage me and make sure I was getting what I needed. She felt very strongly about celebrating and encouraging motherhood, and the journey into motherhood not just the arrival of a new baby. As a second time mom I really appreciated this, it was a refreshing approch that contributed to a wonderful birth and postpartum season for me. Marie is kind hearted and gentle natured. She was prepared and knowledagble and ready and willing to help. I am very thankful to have met Marie and to have had her be apart of this season of life.

Marie is a kind, patient, knowledgeable and helpful professional. She is flexible, listens to you and help bring solutions to my concerns.

It was a delight to have her helping me getting some sleep when I had no one with me besides my baby. She helped me with  light duties and minded my little one so I could get some rest, which was vital to my mental health.
