I attend a maximum of 2 births per month, so you know you have my full attention. My fee includes 2 prenatal visits to get to know one another and build relationship, go over birth plans, and talk over any fears and expectations. Constant pregnancy support via phone and email. Attending the birth from the point we decide upon together until you're comfortable after the birth. And 1 postpartum visit to go over birth together, help with resources and breastfeeding if needed. I fill in the gaps wherever I see them. No job is too small or unglamorous. My goal is not for you to think ‘I couldn't have done it without you.’ But to think, ‘IDID IT!’ I empower and support you unconditionally. I'm a resource guide, educated in both natural, home and hospital births alike. I work alongside you, your partner and your care provider seemlessly. I work with couples and single moms.

We honestly couldn’t have received better support from Grace during the birth of our second little one. Our first birth was 37 hours ending with a near emergency c-section and resuscitated NICU baby. My husband and I were quite apprehensive going into this birth based on our previous experience and our desire for a VBAC. Grace was everything we needed and also everything we didn’t even know we would need during the entire process. Her support was invaluable as we navigated the VBAC world and gave us the courage to advocate for a VBAC. She was always just a text away with encouragement, recommendations and just being there during pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum.

This birth was radically different from our first. It came fast and furious catching us by surprise in how quickly baby was ready to make his entrance and we had an unplanned home birth. Grace arrived moments after the EMTs and helped us navigate this unexpected change to our birth plan. She was calm and collected as she conveyed our birth wishes to the EMTs allowing my husband and I to focus on labor. She ensured our experience was all that we had hoped for even though the location wasn’t what we had planned and brought peace and assurance to my husband and I throughout the process. It was only because of her calm and collected communication with the EMTs that everything we had wanted for delivery and immediately after were done,

It was so healing to talk through everything at our postnatal visit. To remember and reminisce over our two radically different birth stories and how we had achieved our VBAC. All in all, this birth wouldn’t have been nearly as successful and peaceful if it weren’t for Grace and all she did.

Grace was an essential and perfect part of my birth team! This was my second homebirth, and I had no idea how much I really would need her--she did everything and was everywhere that I needed, without me even asking. She made it possible for my husband to fully support me, and there were several parts of labor where I needed her applying counter pressure/etc while my husband was able to be talking me through the contractions. Just filling all the big and little gaps! Grace has the exact kind of initiative but also sensitivity that's needed during labor--very in tune to the capacity you need her to fill. I never felt like her help was detracting or competing with my midwives or my husband--just a very seamless teamwork that made me feel so supported, safe, and empowered during the entire labor. She also came to my house after a few times and stormed cleaning, laundry, and toddler attention in a balm-to-my-postpartum-soul way. We had a great talk before my birth about the ways we needed support, and talking through the birth afterward together was invaluable in processing and revisiting it all!

Grace is incredibly passionate about supporting families during a very vulnerable and incredibly beautiful season of their lives. She has first hand experience with her own births and the challenges and joys that came with them. She‘s a good listener and aligns herself with your personal vision for your birth. She met with us multiple times beforehand, provided resources, and was a very needed support during a challenging delivery. She’s very calm in difficult situations. I highly recommend her!
