I have had Brandi as my doula twice. Both experiences were amazing. She provided excellent physical and emotional support.

Especially the second time, she supported me emotionally when I was faced with some difficult decisions concerning labor and delivery. Her calming voice and supportive words really helped me to make the best decision.

Drandi is the best, I honestly don't know how anything could be any better. From the moment we connected, Brandi's support and guidance were exceptional. Throughout my pregnancy and birthing journey, she provided unwavering care, knowledge, and compassion. Her calming presence and expertise made me feel empowered and at ease during labor. I can't thank her enough for being an essential part of my childbirth experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services to anyone seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable doula.

We knew we wanted to work with a doula for the birth of our first baby, and interviewed several doulas. Brandi answered our questions, made us feel at ease, and brought a wealth of experience. She spent lots of time with us prior to birth getting to know our family, reviewing what to expect about the labor and postpartum process, and helping us practice techniques to cope with birth. Brandi also helped support us in making some key decisions before and during birth.

Due to several factors, we decided to plan an induction, so we waited to call Brandi until labor was active. She was very responsive by text and phone before it was time to come to the hospital, and she helped us talk through our choices such as whether to have our medical team break the bag of waters - not deciding for us but helping us feel confident in our decisions.

The birth of our baby was wonderful. Some of that comes down to luck and having a great medical team, but a lot of the credit goes to Brandi for helping us take a relaxed but focused approach to the whole process. Teresa, the birthing parent, especially appreciated the massage, counterpressure, heat pack, position changes, and dancing! Lupe, the non-birthing parent, appreciated being able to take a break for a moment and trusting that Brandi would be there to support Teresa.

We had a slow-but-steady second stage of labor with 5 hours of pushing. Brandi helped make this not just doable but fun, contributing to the team atmosphere in the room. So many of the hospital staff commented afterwards on the wonderful "vibe" coming from our birthing room. When our baby finally made her appearance, Brandi caught the early moments of our little one's life on camera. She shared a meal afterward with us and Lupe's parents, and made our first weeks home as a family less overwhelming with postpartum support. We hope to work with Brandi again!!

Brandi's doula services helped me and my family tremendously. She is very caring and flexible. I originally wanted a vbac but decided to have a repeat c section for personal reasons. Brandi made sure I was informed amd ultimately supported my birth plan decision without hesitation. Even though I had a csection, she still provided essential services to me and my family. I have no family in the surrounding area and Brandi was able to wait in the recovery room with my 3 year old while I had the c section performed. It was such a sigh of relief to be able to have my 3 year old at the hospital with me, particularly right after baby was born. Both Brandi and my 3 year old were right there to greet my husband and I as we came from from the operating room to the recovery room with our new baby. Additionally, since i did not use her services for labor support, she offered to stay with me at the hospital that first night. This was extremely helpful because like I said I have no family in the area and my husband had to leave every night with our 3 year old because the hospital did nit allow kids to spend the night.

Postpartum doula services were also great. She helped with whatever I needed which was typically light cleaning and entertaing my 3 year old while I relaxed with the baby.

I highly recommend Brandi as a doula!

Brandi was a fantastic doula and resource for us. She is knowledgable, friendly, and open. Her communication style is clear and concise and you always feel like you know what to expect with her. She arrived to our house promptly and did well to assist the midwife in our delivery and after care, as well as making sure to help make mom comfortable. I very much appreciated Brandi's service and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and proficient doula.

Brandi was very understanding of our situation. We wanted a homebirth but we’re unsure of how our insurance would manage this request. Brandi was supportive and helpful while we navigated this process. We had two pre-birth visits with her. One in person and one virtually. During both visits she took the time to get to know our family and asked questions about how best she could support us. I felt very heard and understood with her. This was our second birth and second doula but first homebirth. We felt very confident going into our birth with Brandi’s support!

My husband and I had the privilege of having Brandi as our doula for our first born in September 2019. Since then we moved to Michigan and found out we were expecting our second child. On a whim, I called to let her know the good knew and inquired if she had a travel package. We were so relieved that she shared our excitement and was willing to expand her services for us in just that moment. Brandi is an excellent, warm, compassionate and driven doula. You can tell she really loves what she does and the families she serves. She listens and tailors to what type of support you need and makes it happen. And when it is action time, she is all hands on and ready to go! Brandi knows how to anticipate the need and meet the need exceeding expectations. She is truly a gem and any family would be blessed to have her. BeeReady Doula Services really goes the distance and beeyond ?? We can't thank her enough!

Brandi did an excellent job as my doula. She is passionate about being a doula and it shows in the support that she gave to me while she was my doula. She shared her knowledge with me about childbirth. She gave me emotional and physical support. At one point during labor, I had leg cramps and she massaged my leg to stop the leg cramps. I especially am thankful for her encouraging me by making low pitched moans as an example for me during the pushing stage of labor. She was very helpful to me. I would recommend her as a doula to anyone who may need one.

Working with Brandi was an amazing opportunity for my family. After relocating to St. Louis during the middle of my pregnancy, I was desperate to find additional support for my husband and I because we are first time parents and all of our family lives 8 or more hours away. I was particularly interested in having support from a doula given the maternal health disparities that are unfortunately a stark reality for Black mothers living in Missouri. My husband and I were transparent with Brandi about our needs and expectations and she was able to affirm our desires based on the scope of her capacities and training. She was extremely resourceful with tips and strategies to ease aches during the final weeks of the third trimester and provided knowledgeable insight of the healthcare systems in the STL metro area. It was great being able to text her with questions or concerns. She even made a little “Bee Ready” heating pad infused with lavender essential oil that became a mandatory tool for coping with my sleep-time discomforts. Not only was Brandi a familiar face for me during labor, but she also did an excellent job of assisting and supporting my husband and mother during the process. I felt they were well attuned to my needs and worked together like a dream team despite my general nervousness, inhibitions, and periodic skepticism of the hospital personnel. While my goal was to deliver naturally, Brandi was open to allowing me to maintain a flexible birth plan as I deemed necessary. She did not try to force her personal values or experiences on me and made sure that my health was a priority. It was clear that I was the center of my own pregnancy, labor and birth story, which was truly invaluable. Overall, it was great to work with Brandi as my doula and I gladly recommend her professionalism and services.

Brandi was an amazing doula. She gave me three confidence that I needed to deliver my baby naturally. She gave me the information I needed, answered all the questions I asked, and didn't get annoyed with ne if I asked her there same question more than once (pregnancy brain lol). Most importantly, she was there when I needed her the most and kept me calm when I kinda started tio freak out. Brandi kept me grounded when I forgot my training sometimes. I just loved how down to earth and personable she was when dealing with me, my husband, and my other child (we were a handful). I would recommend brandi to anyone thinking about having a baby naturally. She the bomb!!!

My husband and I hired Brandi to be our doula as we prepared  for the birth of our first child. From the beginning during the interview process we knew she was the one. She was very informative and professional yet kind and empathetic to our needs and wishes. Each prenatal visit we left informed and encouraged. During labor and delivery she was absolutely amazing. She knew how to anticipate my needs, provide comfort and encouragement. She helped us to feel safe and advocated for while at the hospital. She has continued to provide the same level of care for our post natal and follow up visits. I do not know how we would have gotten through our labor and birth experience if it was not for her. Brandi is a gem and anyone would be blessed to have her as their doula.

Brandi was an excellent support person while I was in labor. She was the calming presence I needed. I felt 100% comfortable with Brandi. She offered suggestions and provided excellent encouragement. She helped me on my journey of having a healthy baby girl.

I felt a connection with Brandi at our very 1st meeting, as she radiated such a warmth and love of childbirth that I knew she had to be my doula! She was great about being in touch with me in the months leading up to my due date, and we had a visit about a month before my due date to go over some labor positions and exercises, as well as just cover all the bases to make me feel the most prepared for labor and delivery. Toward the end of my pregnancy, she wanted me to check in after each OB appt, and she was incredibly responsive and supportive. The day I went into labor, she was sooo excited when I called to tell her it was go-time. We met at the hospital and she was such a wonderful presence. She had the right balance of scaling back a bit to see just what I needed to feel the most comfortable, but also wasn't afraid to step in and take charge in a moment where it seemed like I needed help. I can remember laboring at one point on the birthing ball next to the hospital bed, moaning and rocking forwards and back, and she came up and squeezed my back/hips during a contraction in a way that was such a relief. She showed tremendous empathy, knowledge, and care.
As labor ramped up for me, my body started to feel more out of control, and she really helped me stay focused and attain my goal of going med-free. Once baby was born, she was such a positive presence in the room. Brandi got to cut the cord and then help as baby first latched. Brandi stayed with me until I got moved into a post-partum room at the hospital. Then, a few weeks after the birth, she came to my home for a visit and to check on how I was doing.
I have to especially commend Brandi on her great communication, as well as her general passion for labor and birth. This is truly what she is meant to do in life. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. She is there to be your advocate and strongest ally in birth.

My husband and I experience with Brandi Belger was nothing short of awesome. From the beginning of our journey she provided us with important information on the labor and delivery process. The mediciations that the hospital staff would introduce us to during the process which was very helpful due to being first time parents. During our journey she made sure to check on me and my husband to see how we were doing mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. That was something that meant a lot to us because she wanted to know us on a personal level and just not as clients. As we got closer to the labor and delivery of our little man she visited us and provided different techniques to help us labor without mediciation.

Our baby was due on October 6th but decided to make his appearance October 10th. We started laboring on October 8th at 9pm and we were able to use techniquest Brandi had taught us over the course of our journey. Once we placed the call into her she came to our house until it was time to go to the hospital. At the hospital she provided my husband and I with so much support to deal with the pain and even in my decision to get an epidural after 15 hours. As the night grew she supported with helping me move into different positions to help the baby move down the canal stay positive. Finally as the doctor came in to provide us with the final decision the doula gave us positivity that there was nothing wrong with a c-section and the baby will be here in no time.

Brandi was there by our side once we came back from the delivery and she helped me with the first feeding. My husband and I were truly greatful for Brandi in our life as our Doula and being supportive through our pregnancy journey. I would give her 5 starts and recommend her to any couple.

Brandi was a joy to work with! She was considerate of my vision for my labor and always soothed my concerns. She was flexible and available whenever I needed her and when I delivered (4 weeks early!) she came running, even though she had JUST finished a labor hours earlier. She is so easy going and just amazing to work with!
