Jennifer was an immense help to us for the first two months of our baby's life. She worked for us as a night nurse and went above and beyond our expectations. She communicative, easy going and responsive.

Getting sleep was certainly a huge help but her small tips along the way on nursing, caring for baby and related topics were also powerful. Her thoughtfulness and kindness, which brought great energy to our household, will be missed.

I highly recommend Jennifer if you get the opportunity to work with her!

Jennifer is the most outstanding person in general and doula we have ever experienced!  We are new parents and she made it so much more enjoyable and helped educate us along the way. We so lucky to have had her in our first months of our beautiful daughter's life!  We are beyond grateful. Anyone would be lucky be lucky to have her with your children.

I had the absolute best experience with Jennifer. I contacted her when my twins were only a few weeks old as I was desperate for some sleep and overall help at night. My sister recommended her to me and after speaking with Jennifer via FaceTime, I immediately felt at ease. She cared for my twin boys for 3-4 nights a week for roughly 2 months. To say she was a godsend is an understatement. She has such a warm and calming presence about her and she is a natural with babies. I knew my boys were in good hands with her and I would recommend her to anyone. I'm so grateful to have met her. ??

3 days before maternity leave ended I realized that with a new baby and a 3 year old that I was going to need some help at night. I had never had any experience with doulas before but at the recommendation of a girlfriend I started frantically searching and found Jennifer, and WOW I really wish I had her for my first baby! You're always going to be a little nervous about having a stranger in your home overnight much less caring for your baby, but one night with Jennifer and I felt completely at ease. She is wonderful and helped me transition back to full time work, she watched my 12 week old until she was almost 20 weeks! Jennifer took initiative and saw ways to help that even I hadn't considered. She would come over, wash bottles, empty the dishwasher, fold laundry, handle the baby overnight, and leave a clean kitchen in the morning on her way out. She was always on time and would text me notes from the night. She made suggestions about transitioning out of the swaddle that even as a second time parent I found helpful! She was also just pleasant to chat with when she would come over, and I always looked forward to nights she was coming. I cannot recommend her highly enough if you're looking for a calming energy to support your journey into parenthood whether it is your first or second time or even more!

Jennifer was an incredible support to our postpartum experience. She was the calm, peaceful presence we needed to tackle the early weeks of parenthood with confidence and clarity.

Tactically, Jennifer is punctual and a skilled communicator. For instance, she routinely shared detailed recaps of each overnight the following morning. Her flexibility was also helpful. Though we had a routine set of days together each week, she was always open to variances as needed.

Jennifer's experience and expertise was invaluable. At the start of each visit, she would answer all of our questions about our new baby - from "is this behavior normal?" to "what would you recommend we do if this happens?" This ongoing consultation was critical in tackling the uncertainty of those first days as new parents.

All in all, we are deeply grateful for our time with Jennifer.

Before bringing my second child into the world, I was astonished and excited to learn about postpartum doulas and the many ways they can support families after baby arrives. I was really anxious about navigating the new demands of a toddler and a newborn, especially overnight. In comes Jennifer! Jennifer molded to our family's needs in a very natural, respectful, thoughtful and unobtrusive way. She handled all overnight wake-ups, bringing me baby just for nursing, allowing me to get more essential sleep. Her encouragement around breastfeeding  resulted in an enduring and fulfilling breastfeeding relationship. She helped referee my toddler during night time wake-ups and then helped my tot get ready for the day in the morning. I'd find them in the kitchen making breakfast, a thrilled toddler sus chef by her side. I'll never forget the nourishing breakfast she prepared her last morning - the best - we felt spoiled! I learned tips from her for navigating my new normal (e.g., prep things in advance, give smoothies a boost by adding spinach). Jennifer's presence and support brought my household so much peace of mind. The opportunity (and privilege) to rest and focus on healing was priceless!

Our experience with Jennifer was nothing short of wonderful. She provided her undivided attention and care to me throughout my 18+ hours of labor at home and transfer to the hospital. She was the calming and steady presence that we needed during our birth experience. During my early postpartum, Jennifer was super helpful as I recovered. She brought over meals and helped me with things around the house that I wasn’t able to get to. I would 100% recommend Jennifer as a birth and postpartum doula.

We originally hired Jennifer for overnight care for our newborn, then ended up using her as our daytime doula, too. She was a lifesaver! It was hard for me to trust anyone with my newborn baby, but Jennifer was so amazing with him and made me feel completely comfortable. She was calm, caring and helpful. Can't recommend her enough... We loved our time with Jennifer!

It was a joy having Jennifer in my home to help with my 6 week old baby girl at night. She brought warmth, kindness and care. Her intuitive nature and experience helped me greatly. Jennifer is very nurturing and knowledgeable in caring for infants and children. I wish I could have her here every night. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for postpartum support.

We loved Jen! She was incredibly attentive and asked a lot of questions in an effort to get to know me and learn about the birth that I wanted. She also had some recommendations of her own for me to consider. Jen was a great support to both me and my husband during the birth of our son. She has a very calm presence which is comforting in your most vulnerable moments. Jen also provided some postpartum care and stayed with me and the baby to help so my husband could be with our toddler. I would definitely recommend her!

I met with Jennifer at the beginning of my pregnancy and we knew right away that we wanted her to be there for the birth of our first child as she was very easy going and informative. I felt that she was very easy to talk to and responsive whenever I had questions or concerns- which I loved. There's nothing worse than sending a message and waiting days to get a response!

Once my water broke, and I was starting to feel a little uncomfortable she came and sat with us and walked with us around the block a few times to try and get labor to progress. Being a first time mom, this was really comforting as my boyfriend and I didn't know what to expect and it was really reassuring just having her there to help us try different pain relieving techniques throughout the contractions. She was there for 24 hours and throughout the entire labor she was holding my hand and applying pressure on my lower back throughout the contractions. No matter how painful the contractions were she reassured me that the end was near and she had confidence in me even when I didn't have confidence in myself.

Jennifer was a great support for me during and after my pregnancy and vital just after delivery. Before my due date she came for a home visit at my request to familiarize with my house and people who would be at the labor. While here we discussed a lot of techniques and what I wanted for my homebirth ideally. She is relatable, down to earth, yet incredibly professional, educated, and grounded. She helped me further visualize and communicate what I was hoping for with this labor and delivery And learn about more options available to me.

A bit unfortunately, I had a percipitous labor, being somewhere around 20minutes, to all of our surprise. Jennifer made it to my homebirth shortly after delivery though, around the time I was hemorrhaging and needed some life saving interventions, which were quite grueling. During this difficult time, Jennifer was by my side squeezing my hand and saying things I cant remember now but were incredibly calming and helping me through the process completely. Having her there was so important for me for what I was going through. I was very lucky to have a team so supportive of what I wanted and they all stayed extra Long after delivery to ensure i would be alright and not need to transfer. Jennifer made me food after delivery, brought me anything I needed, cool rags, ice. She really tied my team together. Her energy was what helped the most. I was shaking and her hand just seemed to transfer through some calmness over to me to help me relax. It was a fairly intense postdelivery.

Jennifer brings incredibly positivity.. Really a great person to have on your birth team. She is passionate about all things birth, babies, and mothering. She has a gentle and nutering demeanor. She was there for me throughout my pregnancy and postpartum Through text messages, calls, etc. I would very much recommend Jennifer as your doula, and would hire her again if we have another someday. Thank you so much
