Post a testimonial for Lauren Ordeneaux, CLC, MCD
10/16/2018
I met Lauren at an event in the Las Vegas area for resources surrounding pregnancy and birth and enjoyed talking to her from Day 1. She's so sweet and has a great backround and expereince. Added bonuses for me were our connection as fellow Air Force spouses and Texans. Lauren was the only doula I interviewed and I loved working with her. At each of our prenatal meetings she was informative and supportive and i knew she understood what I was hoping for out of my birth going into it. When I ended up having to be induced Lauren was such a champion during that and helped my husband and I prepare for the change of plans. Throughout the birth Lauren was so helpful - from either saying postiive things i needed to hear while i leaned on my husband for physical support, remembering to get wam blankets or cool towels so my husband didn't have to, updating my parents in the waiting room so my husband could stay with me, you name it she was right there and prepared. Lauren made me feel better when I ended up getting an epidural andd felt like I had failed my birth plan, she reassured me I was doing the right thing at the time in order to avoid a surgery and to have my baby naturally. Lauren was right there during pushing, and even took some sweet pictures for us right at birth. Lauren even helped prepare my placenta to be given to the encapsulator which was such a relief for my husband and I who had no idea what to do. I'm so thankful for such a great expereince with Lauren and highly recoemnd her services. Having a doula was such a positve impact on our birth story and Lauren will be a blessing to anyone she works with!
