Where do i begin... I met Jamie at her placenta encapsulation class that was heald at Cirle of Life Chiropractic in september of 2018.  The moment I walked in the door the stars aligned. She made me and my fiancé feel so comfortable and she answered all of our questions during the class. Neither of us even knew what a doula was and after leaving the class I knew that Jamie would be helping me throughout my pregnancy and during birth! She met with us a few times before my birth and made us feeel comfortable and relaxed. She answerd all our questions and backed me up with all the information I needed to make decisions for me and the birth I dreamed of. She was always a phone call away for anything that i needed from her! When my baby was breach she helped me to try everything under the sun to get her to turn. Unfortunately the baby was stuck and never turned. But Jamie was there at the hospital anyway to hold my hand while i waited for my surgery. When my fiancé couldn’t handle the surgery room Jamie stepped in and helped me through my C section too! She was there to help me with my first latch of breastfeeding and she was there to help answer some scary questions that came up when my daughter needed an MRI the first day she was born. She quietly tip toed out the door when we felt comfortable as we could be as first time parents. We met again a few days later when she came for her last house visit. She helped with breastfeeding positions when i was having trouble and she answered the millions of questions i had as a first time parent. Her time with us ended but even months later when I needed support and had new mommy questions she was there a phone call away for me! Jamie is amazing! We are so Happy we found her that day! And I also highly recommend her placenta encapsulation package too! Jamie thank you for all you did for me and my family. Words can not express our gratitude for everything you did for our family!

Working with Jamie was one of the best experiences of my life. She attended my birth in may of 2018. As a new mom, I had about about a million and one questions about birth and placenta encapsulation. Jamie is so knowledgeable and extremely kind. I could not have done it without her comfort and strength during my labor experience. I would recommend her to anyone time and time again. I can’t even begin to put into words how great of an experience I had from beginning to end.

from the start I KNEW I needed a doula if I wanted my natural birth to happen. My partner was not 100% on board with having a doula AT FIRST but by the time he met Jamie during our first prenatal visit he started to understand why having a doula present would help us both. The day I contacted Jamie she gave me such a welcoming response,I felt so calm after talking with her.Jamie was so supportive of me from the start & she understood me without questioning any of my decisions. We had our consultation followed up by 2 prenatal appointments. And then the birth..During it all I can honestly say I feel like I have gained a friendship with her. The day I went into labor I contacted Jamie, Bc I am a FTM I wasn’t sure what I was feeling were contractions. Jamie reassured me that everything’s ok & it was just my body prepping it’s self... After 12 hrs of contractions Jamie came over and stayed with me until I gave birth. While she was over She helped flip my baby into optimal position, relax & just remind me that each contraction would bring my baby closer to me.I wouldn’t trade my birth experience at all I was able to have an unmedicated / all natural birth because of her support. After it all my partner was so HAPPY to have Jamie there guiding us as first time parents. Birth is so different for everyone and it is so important to have the right support system during this process.I also got my placenta encapsulated by Jamie and I am so grateful I was able to do this. I was so worried about having  PPD because of my history and thankfully I took precautions. My partner was able to immediately notice the difference in my mood after taking the pills. If i were to do it all over again I’d do it the same way in order to afford a doula we cut back on a lot of things and got everything second hand for our baby and don’t regret it one bit.
