If you're looking for a doula that you need to trust to advocate for you during your labor process, Tasha is the one you're looking for. We aren't a conventional couple and while we were flexible on many options for our labor and birth, there were just some things we were unwilling to compromise on and Tasha really stood up for us. We needed advice about how to proceed in some cases and she made us feel that it was acceptable and necessary to send everyone out of the room and consult with her and one another before moving forward. We ended up removing one of the doctors from our care and Tasha talked to them and made it clear why we'd come to that decision. Tasha has a calming demeanor and it's obvious that she is confident and knows what she is doing, but most importantly for us, she knew when to be firm with medical staff and with us when we needed it. She always listened very carefully to us and made us feel safe and empowered. We never felt any judgment from her, only acceptance and a true abiding desire to be there for us during a very special and intimate time in our lives. She absolutely went above and beyond her call of duty. She was our absolute rock during the tumultuous experience we had and there is no way to repay her for the kindness and generosity she showed us. We can't recommend her highly enough or say enough good things about her. Tasha is truly amazing and clearly doing what she was meant to do.
My husband Jack and I worked with Tasha to bring out little human into the world. Tasha was an integral member of our team. She made it a priority to understand our needs and family philosophies from day one. She took great care to educate both of us on the process of labor and birth, made sure that we knew our options for different ways to approach the experience and was ready to support us in all the choices that we made.
We labored for nearly two days and Tasha was with us every step of the way. She was my advocate with hospital staff, my champion when the going got hard and was both mine and Jack’s rock until the end. Her commitment to her craft and our family is unshakable and we will be forever grateful to have had Tasha present for the biggest moment in our lives.
Should we decide to make another life Tasha will be the first person that we call.
We feel so fortunate to have had Tasha as our doula! Tasha embodies all the right qualities that make her amazing at what she does. She is knowledgeable, intuitive, warm, caring and respectful. Tasha was incredibly encouraging during labor and a very powerful coach as things became more and more challenging. During the hardest parts of my labor, she was right by my side, guiding me through with positivity and supportive words that made a huge difference. I really don’t think I could have done it without her! In addition, Tasha was easy to reach and great at checking in to see how I was doing in the weeks leading up to the birth and postnatally as well. We are forever grateful to Tasha for her support.

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Tasha on a few different occasions. We hired Tasha for overnight care of our premature twin babies. I immediately felt at ease with Tasha. She has a warm, caring and gentle nature that is coupled with a supreme confidence in infant care. She watched and fed my babies throughout the night so I could get some much needed rest. Being premature both babies had some special feeding needs and Tasha was able to address those needs with deftness and surety. Not only that but she served as a support for me while I was post partum helping me navigate the land mines of hormones, recovering from a c-section and other assorted baby related stuff. She stayed with us such a small amount of time but she made a lasting difference. I will always remember her and be thankful. I recommend Tasha without reservation. Any family would be lucky to have her as a member of their “tribe.”
Tasha was amazing to work with! I have dreamed about having my baby, with the perfect pregnancy and a beautiful med free natural birth. When I became pregnant with my daughter we were planning a home birth, but finances prevented that and we had a fully insured hospital birth instead. But when we were making that decision I felt that I was settling and it kind of broke my heart a little. I told my husband that I wanted/needed to hire a doula cause I felt I was giving up on the kind of birth I wanted but I wanted to be successful at having a natural birth and I knew a doula would help me get there. When we met Tasha we all just clicked. It was magic. She was so warm and inviting right from the start. Each our meeting she stayed and answered any questions we had and brought us books and resources that were so very helpful. As birth approached we were so impatient and I was constantly texting her day and night and she reassured my every worry and kept me calm and feeling powerful of my body. She was so very encourag of my first birth experience and I felt so confident. Our birthing time came and things quickly got complicated. I had a very on again off again labor and we all were going back and fourth to our hospital for my 5 day laboring process. I was becoming so discouraged and exhausted and at the end I didn’t care how she came out I was just ready to be done. I remember during the pushing, I was only focused on Tasha and she was an amazing coach. She counted my every push and that is exactly what I needed. I was in some magical zone with her, listening to her every direction. I didn’t have the unmedicated home birth I had originally wanted but I had a wonderful birth experience that I will treasure forever and a big part of that is because of her. Thank you Tasha for the most amazing experience and empowering me to bring my perfect baby girl into the world.
Tasha was a student doula for my birth and helped me out post-partum as well. From the first time I met her, I appreciated her presence at our meetings. I think finding the right doula is a combination of the right experience and the right personality fit. Tasha brings a beautiful mix of no-nonsense mom practicality and deep reverence for the transformational process of birth. I imagine that she'd laugh and curse and cheer and wait and watch with equal attention. At my birth she was a welcome addition to holding the space, and she volunteered to take photos. I hardly noticed the camera, and the pictures are amazing. I am so grateful to have them. In the post-partum setting, she radiated a grounded calm that I needed in that fuzzy stage. My infant took his longest nap with her, and I felt totally comfortable taking care of myself while she took care of him. I'm glad she's in the world of birthing babes and moms!
