Jen Koppel

I am medically trained as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner however, not 'baby trained'. Working with a Doula was a last minute decision and I am forever grateful to have had Gayle’s support. Her unique blend of clinical knowledge, holistic care and personal experience was a perfect fit as I learnt to navigate the needs of my newborn daughter, family and self. She met me a couple of weeks prior to my planned C-section, in the hospital and multiple times at home postpartum. Gayle was flexible, generous with her time and provided credible resources which were perfect for me as a rookie Mom. Finally, she was compassionate, personable and a pleasure to work with. She comes highly recommended by myself and family.

Doula testimonial

Gayle is a truly wonderful doula. She helped me and my family during a particularly stressful time after the birth of or second baby. She is very comforting and a great listener, and she is always ready to offer suggestions and solutions to make my life easier for myself and my family. Her emotional support and understanding was huge for me in my early postpartum months. She has great knowledge in terms of breastfeeding support and Gayle directed me to many incredibly useful postpartum resources that helped me hugely. She thought about things that my sleep-deprived-brain hadn’t even thought of. Gayle helped to steer me through the fog and we are so very graceful for her unwavering love, support and care. I would recommend her in a heartbeat, any family is lucky to have Gayle in their lives. I will happily give references.
