Amber was so supportive before, during and after my birth. I found her energy calming and steady. Amber is very knowledgable and was able to provide support in many areas. I know if i struggled more postpartum that i could have called her for help at any time. She checked in with me on multiple occassions and I didnt feel forgotten about. She takes care of her clients like they are her family. I will be hiring Amber for any future babies

We met with three different doulas in the local area before choosing Amber. Her warm and calm demeanour was what won us over and she continuously carried herself that way through birth and beyond.

I felt guided by Amber, not directed. She gently brought forward suggestions through labour and never pushed me, but allowed me to accept her suggestions on my own time. She brought helpful tools like a yoga ball and massaged my back as I worked through labour pains at home. 

We were lucky that despite the pandemic, Amber was able to join us in the hospital where she continued to support my husband and I for 7 hours before our baby was born.

With our first baby, we wanted to surround ourselves with a great team given that my husband and I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We're very happy that Amber was a part of that.

When we were expecting our first baby, I knew that I wanted to hire a doula because of all of the amazing benefits of doula care. I was also a bit nervous about what it would be like to have someone other than my husband there for the birth. Amber was absolutely amazing from the first meeting through to the last postpartum visit.  She is such a warm and caring person with a calm and quiet strength.  The perfect energy to bring into the birth experience.  Amber was so committed to getting to know us and our hopes and preferences for our baby’s birth.  We did hypnobirthing and she studied and knew all of the techniques better than we did! Amber’s support made all the difference for my husband and I, and I know for sure that Amber played a huge role in helping me with pain management.  I don’t think I would have made it past the first few hours of labour without her.

We also had Amber for post partum care.  Her support was such a lifeline. From debriefing about the birth with someone who was actually there, to being fed and cared for, baby cuddled while I napped or showered- Amber’s support helped me to get through those tough first weeks and months of motherhood.

We would highly recommended Amber to anyone looking for birth or postpartum doula care.  She has a real gift.  You can tell that she is so passionate about what she does.

The best thing my husband and I ever spent money on during pregnancy and postpartum was Doula care. It's not the crib, the stroller or the glider but the days where you can take a quick cat nap as Amber came in, stealthily, and cleaned the the bathroom and kitchen (the two areas you will never find time to get to) and then took our son and held him, changed his diaper and soothed him until the next breastfeeding session. We were so thankful for Amber and her expert care and her listening ear. Not only would she clean the house and soothe our son so I could get a bit of "me" time, but she listened to all my insecurities and encouraged me to keep going. She'll tell you about her experience when she feels like it will help and she has lots of resources to guide you in the journey of a new mom. We would recommend her to anyone!
