We were so lucky to have found Rebekah. I came to California to visit my sister from Massachusetts with my new baby boy. As a first time mother it was hard to leave my newborn with a stranger but Rebekah instantly put me at ease. She was sweet, happy, confident and knowledgeable. He began sleeping through the night in just a few weeks at which point she began helping my sisters newborn. Luckily, however, she was willing to help with both babies as well as my sisters older daughter in the morning when extra help was needed- Playing games, doing tummy time, baby massage... she was also a wealth of knowledge and was able to answer a lot of general baby questions.
Rebekah is exactly what we were looking for in a postpartum doula. At first we were nervous handing our newborn baby girl over to someone outside the family, but she quickly put our concerns to rest. She is an excellent communicator and shared with us every detail about our little lady. She is knowledgeable, dependable, and easy to be around. Confidentiality is very important in our household, and we found that we could trust her completely.
We highly recommend Rebekah. She treated our baby with respect and kindess, attending to his every need. She's super dependable and punctual, so we could always count on her if we knew we had to be somewhere at a particular time. She showed up to every shift with so much energy, smiles and patience...very calm and level headed, even when the baby was giving everyone a hard time! We worked with a couple of doulas and we always called Rebekah first to see if she was available.
Rebekah is a gem! She is highly educated in all things related to newborn care...and is always researching and learning about the latest updates. She cared for our newborn son during the night and I could rest knowing my son was in capable hands. She is warm and encouraging, and she helped us with breastfeeding and sleep training. Thanks Rebekah!
I wasn't sure we could afford hiring a doula, but Rebekah was worth every penny! I was quite anxious after the birth of my baby, and she was knowledgable and able to answer all my questions about the baby and breastfeeding. She has a warm and reassuring personality, and it was so nice to have her calming presense around at the time when I was most vulnerable. Before she started with us, my baby boy would only sleep on me, but she quickly got him sleeping happily in his crib. What a relief! I'll miss having her around.
