The births of our two children were empowering and fulfilling due, greatly, to Tiombe’s continuous assurance and support. From our first meeting with her, we knew we were in expert, caring hands. She seamlessly and unintrusively provided resources for every question and concern during pregnancy. She remained in contact with us as we approached labor and, when labor began, she accompanied us to the hospital. At the hospital, she attended to my every need and concern, supporting not just me, but my husband in creating a comfortable birthing environment. She anticipated things, such as music, that I had not included in my birth plan, that made a huge difference in providing peace and ease. Tiombe’s competent and unobtrusive presence allowed me to face giving birth free of fear. I can truly say that while it was challenging, my births were completely unmedicated and pain-free--one of my most glorious accomplishments in life--because Tiombe was there to help me focus and remain relaxed. She provided touch when I needed it and took turns with my husband as I kept moving until it was time to deliver. She worked very well with the medical team, flowing between all our requests. After I gave birth each time, she would appear miraculously with food exactly when I needed it. Tiombe is a consummate and compassionate professional integral to our multiple positive birth experiences. If you are looking for calming, assuring, thoughtful, wise, affirming support during birth, we highly recommend Tiombe Bowman.

We had a disappointing experience with Tiombe's service. On the day of the birth, she arrived late, which added unnecessary stress to an already intense situation. Given the high cost of her services, we expected professionalism and reliability, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The preparation work she did with us beforehand also felt useless and did not provide the guidance or support we needed when the time came. Additionally, she did not show the level of respect and sensitivity we hoped for in such an intimate and important moment.

Overall, we felt let down and would not recommend this service to others looking for a supportive and reliable doula.
