Dinara Abilova

We are really happy we found Julia. I chose her after interviewing about 10 post partum night doulas and would recommend her to friends and family. Julia took care of our newborn daughter at night for the first several weeks after birth. This made a big difference in helping me recover and giving us peace of mind so we could rest and gradually adjust to taking care of a newborn. Julia stayed with our daughter in her room and brought her to me for feedings. As soon as the feeding was over Julia would take her back, change her, soothe her to sleep and then watch her until the next feeding, while I maximized my much needed sleep. Our daughter started having good 3-4 hour stretches at night by the end of Julia's stay and Julia was instrumental in helping establish healthy routines. She provided practical advice and helpful tips for newborn care, such as how to soothe the baby and correctly preserve breast milk on the occasions when I pumped. We trusted Julia 100% with our daughter and felt she was safe and well taken care of at all times, which was invaluable. Julia was always on time and easy to get a hold of. Her personality and demeanor are wonderful - she's attentive, listening, smart, proactive and caring. Wish we could always have Julia with us :)
