My husband and I did Sheelee's bradly class for our first homebirth and it was an absolute game changer. My husband was able to be my primary support and knew exactly what relaxation methods to use. Taking this class gave him the tools and confidence h needed to be exactly what I needed during birth. The whole experience brought us closer as a couple and strengthened our marriage in a way I never knew was possible. Our daughters birth was magical. So calm and peaceful. I would hands down recommend Sheelee for all your birth support needs! She's is incredible and so knowledgeable!!!

My husband and I recently celebrated our son's first birthday and we could not help but think of Shee' Lee and be so grateful for having met her. We had the most wonderful birth experience and are so thankful that she was a part of our kick-ass birth team. She forever changed my life. The knowledge she empowered me with helped me bring a beautiful, healthy boy into this world. Everyday I look at him, smile, and feel a huge sense of gratitude- I did the absolute best for him, and had the best guidance to do so. We recently moved to another state, and she continues to be an incredible resource in helping us find another wonderful support system. We forever thank Shee' Lee for all she does and continues to do! ??

Sheelee was such a blessing to have on our team as we prepared for our first baby. She offered resources even before we had officially decided to hire her as our doula. She was knowledgeable on low intervention birthing practices, care providers who were more inclined to respect our preferences and techniques for how to achieve a low intervention, natural birth. Although our labor experience did not go as planned, we have a healthy, happy baby boy and could not ask for anything more than that! She followed up with us and offered more advice, kindness and encouragement during the postpartum period which was so appreciated! We are very grateful to her for all her experience, care and knowledge. Thanks, Sheelee!

Shee Lee was a phenomenal doula! She was an excellent resource for a variety of concerns and I could tell she genuinely cared about supporting me throughout my pregnancy and post partum. I really appreciate her willingness to help research/ provide information in a timely manner in a myriad of scenarios. Unfortunately she was unable to be there for my actual birth but she sent a wonderful replacement and still followed up diligently with me. I'm forever grateful!

Shee’lee’s Bradley method birthing classes were so informative and prepared both my husband and I for the labor process. After only the first class, I knew I wanted her specifically as my doula. She’s a breath of fresh air and so knowledgeable. After the classes, I was confident in myself and body to have a natural unmedicated hospital birth and I did just that. My husband felt confident going in to support me during the process as well after her classes. Doulas are 100 percent worth the money having an advocate to support you during the birthing process in the hospital. We highly recommend!

Shee’Lee was a godsend. My original doula got a concussion and Shee’Lee accepted me as a client last minute at 37 weeks. She instantly made me feel comfortable in her care and came for a home visit to answer any questions we had and really took the time to ease our worries. We had a home birth and I went into labor in the middle of the night and she answered my phone call right away. I progressed so quickly that both her and the midwife made it just in time for the birth! She took photos like I requested even in the rush of it all. We transferred to the hospital per the midwife’s request (both baby and me were completely fine!) and Shee’Lee stayed at our home with our 2 year old son until my parents could come get him. She was checking in with me and my partner through it all. I ran into quite a few issues postpartum and her care for me in that next month was truly special. Always sending recommendations and referrals when asked, and offering emotional support when I needed it most. We’re waiting a bit before baby number 3, but we will definitely be reaching out to Shee’Lee to be our doula again when the time comes. I highly recommend her!

She'lee had the most informative class and was a wealth of knowledge. Sitting in class day 1 I knew I HAD to have her as my doula. The support and guidance I received from her throughout my pregnancy was amazing. In the hospital, she was a fighter to make sure I got birth I wanted. She is amazing. She truly has found her calling in life--she'lee was put on this earth to help mamas and it shows in her work. I will Recommend her to every single person I know in Hamoton roads over and over again.

My husband and I attended Shee Lee's Bradley Method natural labor class in spring 2022 and it was excellent! Shee Lee is super knowledgeable, caring, and attentive to the details of what birthing mothers need. I always felt I had someone I could turn to when I wasn't understanding or didn't agree with what my medical providers were stating as fact. Her class gave me the confidence to seek additional information so I could consistently make better informed decisions on care for myself and my baby. If you want an educated professional who will be there to support you through one of the most challenging things you will accomplish, Shee Lee is exactly who you need.

My husband and I absolutely loved having Sheè Lee as our Doula through my pregnancy! She gave emotional support during pregnancy and shared experiences and information that contributed to a successful home birth, She was such a great calming presence to have during labor and delivery. We will be using her services for all of our future babies as well!
12/22/2022
We HIGHLY recommend Sheé Lee! Her birth class was so informative, eye opening, and gave us so much confidence going into our birth and even preparing for birth. She helped us change our diet, make little lifestyle changes, and give us valuable information to make great decisions throughout the pregnancy and birth. She was an incredible coach and doula. She gave me (as the husband) so much confidence to truly help and care for my wife throw out the entire labor process. Her encouragement and reminders of what we learned in the class helped our labor go smoothly and peacefully. She helped us write a birth plan, she met with us to plan out our labor/birth, and she made us feel so safe/educated/confident/prepared for our birth. If you are looking to hire a doula or take a birth class... call her!

Sheé Lee was absolutely incredible- I truly wouldn't have been able to do a home birth without her. Prior to going into labor Sheé Lee checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing. When I had concerns about my milk supply, she went above and beyond to connect me with milk donors. During labor she was so attentive, helpful, and such a calming presence. Postpartum, she checked in with me on several occasions and came to my house to see me and baby. I can't recommend her enough and will 100% hire her as my doula for my next (and subsequent) child(ren).

I received Shee'Lee's information from my sister in law, who received the information from her sister! Contacting Shee'Lee and taking her early pregnancy and childbirth classes were the best thing I could have done for my pregnancy. From the very beginning Shee'Lee empowered me to advocate for myself and for my baby. She encouraged me to do my own research, form my own opinions, and make the best decisions for my baby. She taught me how to trust myself and the process of birth. Most importantly, she taught my husband how to be the greatest coach imaginable. Without Shee'Lee and her classes my birth experience would not have been the same. Due to several unforseen complications, I did not get to have the birth that I had envisioned, however we were still able to utilize her teachings and make the best of the card we were dealt. In addition to her pregnancy and child birth classes, her information on breastfeeding and postpartum made me feel ready to take on the challenge. Thanks to Shee'Lee I have just hit 8 months breastfeeding! It hasn't been easy, especially since returning to work, but I am reminded by Shee'Lee's teachings that I am doing the best thing for my baby. For all of these reasons and so many more I would recommend Shee'Lee to anyone looking to enhance their birth experience!

I am so thankful a friend referred me to Shee’lee. I was close to 32 weeks when I first spoke with her, and just from the first conversation on the phone felt more heard than I had during my entire pregnancy. She helped me in so many ways... I desired to change OB's and deliver at a different hospital due to some serious concerns I had that came to light with my prior delivery which ended in a cesarean. At 32 weeks, she helped me find a new OB.. the process wouldn't have been so quick without her knowledge and guidance. Throughout the rest of my pregnancy, she listened to my concerns and calmed me down when I was fighting to have a VBAC. Shee'Lee encouraged me and taught me how to advocate for myself. She helped me through a tough labor and stayed at the hospital with me all night (many hours!). I cannot recommend Shee’lee enough! If I ever choose to have another baby, she would be my first choice as a doula. Although my attemp of a vagina birth ended in cesarean, I don't regret anything (I had one by choice after being in labor for many hours and my baby being transverse and 10 pounds). Shee'lee was there with me every step of the way and even helped the baby latch after my surgery. Her positivity is contagious and her passion for supporting mothers and babies shines through. She is awesome at what she does!

She knows her stuff!!! I learned so much from her class and felt so empowered heading into my first birth. My goal was to have an unmedicated vaginal birth and we did just that! She equipped my husband with the tools to be an awesome labor coach and help me manage my pain. The day I went into labor we called her because I was very adamant that I was ready to go to the hospital but she helped us through some breathing techniques and I was able to stay home laboring in the tub until I was 5cm dilated! You won't regret working with her, she's knowledgeable and very committed to helping you rock that birth!

Shee’lee supported us through our first pregnancy and when we found out we were expecting our second she was one of the very first people we informed as having her as part of our birth experience is a must.
We chose to go through the Bradley birthing class a second time. Shee'lee was accommodating and offered virtual learning.
For our second pregnancy we were planning for a homebirth. We were happy in a setting that aligned with our ideals and values. However, even in a natural midwifery setting, we needed the support of Shee’lee. The relationship between parents and medical providers just doesn’t match the relationship that develops with a doula.
She gives out her cell phone number and is available for questions 24/7. She encouraged me to eat healthy for my body and my baby but never made me feel bad when I chose chick fil a instead of a salad at home lol!
I went into labor at 35 weeks. My midwife wouldn’t deliver until 37 weeks so we went to the hospital. We were worried about our babe possibly being born so early and discouraged going to the hospital since that was not a part of our plan. We weren’t able to have Shee’lee with us at the hospital. However, she was still there for us. She would call to check in and we were texting nonstop. Once we arrived to the hospital we were admitted for a 24 hour observation with suspected preeclampsia. Late that night baby boy was ready to join us. Shee’lee went into overdrive reminding us of our goals and helping us prepare mentally for decisions we may have to make and situations we may have had to encounter bringing our baby into the world 5 weeks early. She stayed up into the very early hours in the morning contacting women available to encapsulate my placenta bc she knew how important it was to us.
Out of 10 we rate Shee’lee a 100. Stop looking, you found the best! Happy birthing!

It's a blessing to have Shee’Lee as a part of our birth story. When I first spoke to her, I was so stressed. She spent an hour encouraging and answering questions.
I’ve only ever imagined a home birth, and if she wasn’t there, I’m sure we would have headed to the hospital as the midwife wouldn’t come. But, I had the birth experience of my dreams.
During labor, Shee’Lee was amazing. I was vomiting from first stage and struggling, but she helped me try positions to move the baby along. My contractions were extra long, and she relieved the pain while Will calmed me. After awhile, I was in a zone, and Will and Shee’Lee formed their own partnership.
A hurricane was bearing down on us, we lost power, and we had two tornado warnings. They didn’t bother me with any of it. Despite my discomfort, they managed to have fun and problem solve while I remained focused (oblivious). When they realized the baby was going to come into the world without the midwife, they handled everything with grace and ease. (They even found moments of levity and laughed amidst the stress.)
Cedar came into the world on the wings of angels completely surrounded with love. It was more than I ever could have dreamed and nothing I would ever have planned. I thank God for Shee’Lee everyday.
Unfortunately our birth photographer didn’t make it either. While holding my hand, Shee’Lee managed to get a picture of the baby crowning (!!!). She also took the most amazing pic of Will, baby, and I just after Cedar was born. (And talked to the midwife and did all the post birth checks on the baby and me...)
Honestly, hiring Shee’Lee for her Bradley classes and as our doula was our best investment. I’d put it at the very top of registry/baby priorities. If you’re on the fence, I promise she’s worth it. You won’t regret having Shee’Lee as part of your birth story.

We hired SheeLee several weeks after we finished our Bradley Methond class with her (which we absolutely loved.) We started feeling a little uncomfortable with our doctor after she was insistent that we a induce a week before my due date. Knowing that we needed some extra back up and support for our natural birth plan we made the decision to hire SheeLee. She was absolutely worth every penny. Not only was she super supportive during my labor at home, she was a tremendous help at the hospital. She reinforced our birth plan and made me feel as comfortable as possible during my time at the hospital. After all was said and done and 26 hours of labor I gave birth to a healthy 6lb 9oz baby boy, without an epidural. I could not have done it without SheeLee. If you are thinking about hiring a doula I strongly recommed SheeLee. She is sweet, caring, compassionate, and is passionate about her work.

My husband and I highly recommend Shee Lee Rock classes! Even if you arent sure about hiring a doula for your day of birth you absolutely should take her bradly method classes! We enjoyed every single class and the knowledge we gained is unbelievable!!!! We had so much fun in every class and without her classes my husband and I agree we wouldve been lost and not as confident as we are now thanks to Mrs Shee Lee! Even if it isnt your first baby like it is ours..her classes will prepare you in ways you probably didnt even consider. The fact that we now know WE ARE IN CONTROL of our choices for our baby is priceless!! We love you Shee Lee! Thank you again for everything !!

SheéLee is a wealth of knowledge and a truly caring, warm person. My husband and I had no idea what to expect when we became pregnant with our first child, but we were sure we wanted a natural childbirth. We also decided to birth at a hospital though, since it was our first child and we weren't sure what could happen. We would not have been able to navigate that system without SheéLee. Between carefully navigating discussions of when my water broke, to understanding informed consent and asking as many questions as possible before each intervention (unfortunately), we felt more equipped to handle what happened. She was also a gentle touch when I needed it, letting me smell essential oils, talking to me about getting through the pain, reminding me how to breathe, helping me shower, helping me with exercises to get my baby in position and moving down in my pelvis. Thanks to back labor on my part...we did not have the birth we hoped for, and it was really hard for me to handle that fact (it still is). SheéLee was so gentle with me and understanding. She was the only person to say, "it's okay to grieve the birth plan you hoped to follow, the birth you hoped to have." That was really great for me because everyone else close to me just kept telling me it was fine and I did what I had to do and to just move on. They were coming from a place of support, but it was so nice to have someone in my life validate my feelings. I am forever grateful that she was there during my first labor experience.

I have yet to meet the wonderful SheeLee in person but I'm definitely looking forward to that day! She has been a light in my dark time with a miscarriage my husband and I experienced last August. I called her for advice, guidance, and strength and at anytime, anyday she was there for me. She even checked on me months afterwards which touched my heart in more ways than I could explain. I look forward to meeting her with this new and healthy pregnancy!

We are really enjoying Shee'lee's birth education class. It has been so much fun! The material Shee'Lee has covered has sparked some neat conversations between my husband & I, which I know will only make us stronger and more prepared for when our baby comes. The past two weeks our class homework has included practicing relaxation techniques. Shee'lee told us that it might feel awkward at first and it did. But the more we've practiced, the more natural it feels. We would have never thought to practice relaxation before, but it makes so much sense to get comfortable with it so it has become second nature by the time we need it to really work. We're looking forward to how much more we'll learn in the upcoming weeks!
6/22/2018
SheéLee was such a vital component to building the type of birth that I wanted (and ultimately got!) My husband and I chose to take the childbirth class in addition to having her as our doula, and that combo was essential for us. By meeting weekly, we grew to know SheéLee better and she learned how we operated and that better helped her decide how to provide comfort during labor. She was so knowledgeable and to first time parents, we were super grateful for that! We were able to ask any question about pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and beyond and get exactly the answer we were looking for. She is just the sweetest person too, with a calming, relaxed personality... definitely what you want during labor! My labor was very short and very intense, but it went exactly like I wanted it! I got to the hospital at 10cm dilated and not able to hold conversations well during contractions! SheéLee stepped in and served as an advocate for my husband and I, speaking with doctors and nurses, making sure our wishes were known. During the pushing stage, she was a friendly voice right at my ear telling me what an excellent job I was doing. Without that, an unmedicated delivery would have been much more difficult! My husband and I loved having SheéLee as our doula and are SO glad we had her by our side.
6/20/2018
Shee'lee is an excellent doula. She made sure my husband I are were completely educated about the birth process and helped us set our birth goals. Going into this, I had no idea about birth outside of what I had seen on television and movies. Shee'lee put me at ease to the point that it nearly felt as if I was as confidant as a mother who had done this several times already. I was able to labor in the comfort of my home for most of my labor, secure in the knowledge that Shee'lee knew when I should go to the hospital. The experience at home was relaxing and beautiful. Shee'lee documented the moment with pictures, and continued to put me at ease. When we got to the hospital, she kept me hanging on, even though labor was long and exhausting. I felt like I was able to make fully educated decisions for me and my baby, and felt confident to continue with my natural birth plan under Shee'lee's care. Even after the baby was born , Shee'lee was there, and continues to be part of her life to this day. I'm forever grateful to Shee'lee for the beautiful, healthy, and perfect birth she helped me through.

I took the Bradley method class through shee‘lee as she was recommended by a friend. I was not disappointed. My first birth experience had been scary and I was uneducated. Her class brought me confidence with knowledge and also taught relaxation techniques that I used during my second sons birth. I knew what to do, what to expect, and I was able to have my second son naturally. I knew exactly what I wanted, was clear to the medical staff what medications were okay, what weren‘t, and everyone remained mostly hands off. My birth experience was my own, I ran the show and I couldn‘t have been happier. The class also teaches your partner to help keep you on track with your birth plan and to help you with relaxation techniques.
My bonding experience ended up being so much quicker with my second son having no epidural. I don’t regret ever taking this class as it really helped me mentally prepare myself for exactly what I wanted, and also knowing what my body was going through at the different stages of labor. This class helped to make my son’s birth truly an amazing experience. Shee’lee was a wonderful teacher.
6/20/2018
We are greatful we had Shee’Lee as our doula during our birthing experi nice. Taking our birthing class with her helped us feel prepared physically, emotionally and mentally for bringing our son into this world. We experienced many challenges during labor, and ended up having an emergency c-section after being in labor for 36 hours. During this time, Shee‘Lee stayed by our side, supporting and helping us. When the time came to make various difficult decisions, she shared her thoughts with us and then respectfully allowed us to choose what we felt was best for our family. I am thankful for the physical and emotional support she provided us during our labor experience.
6/4/2018
Shee'Lee played a hug role throughout my pregnancy and our birth. We originally only signed up for her Bradley Method classes but quickly realized we needed her guidance, knowledge, and support during the birth of our baby too. We loved her classes and learned so much that we were able to put into action during childbirth. But having her there was such a stress relief!!! She helped us in so many ways and made the entire process so much more comfortable. My husband was able to focus on me and not trying to remember everything from class; Shee'Lee was there to guide us and remind us of what she had taught us. She was always available for questions and still checks in on us a month later. Don't think twice about having her as your doula! We will forever be grateful for her and her services.
4/29/2018
Sheè Lee as our doula was a positive, knowledgeable, and comforting asset to our birth experience. She helped achieve our goal for a natural child birth. Hands down, hiring Sheè Lee was the best decision we made. She met with us a couple times before the birth to go over our wants/ goals. She answered any questions we had, and gave us evidence based research to help us with decisions we would make in the hospital. Her genuine caring personality made it easy to feel comfortable while laboring. She dealt with the hospital staff graciously, helping me stay on track to achieve a natural child birth. I couldn't have done it without her! She came to our home afterwards to check in and even helped us find out that our son had a tongue tie issue. She stayed in contact with us for a lengthy time postpartum to make sure that emotionally I was ok. She also has a great network of colleagues in the area, and referred us to a placenta encapsulation specialist- who was awesome! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sheè Lee. Hire her.. you won't regret it!
3/8/2018
I dont think I would have made it without Shee'Lee as my doula, she was absolutely incredible! She helped keep me as comfortable as possible during my labor, made sure the room was dark and that everyone was quiet, which was exactly what I needed. Even my husband, who was pretty skeptical before my baby's birth, was impressed and said he would hire Shee'Lee again in a heartbeat. I recommend her to every friend I have who is pregnant! Shee'Lee was a wonderful advocate for my baby and I and helped facilitate a birth that in my mind couldn't have gone any better!
My husband and I also took her Bradley Method Class, which was wonderful. It was informative, fun, and empowered me to make informed decisions about how I wanted my baby to come into the world. I highly recommend!!

I would not hesitate to endorse Shee'Lee Rock and her doula sevices to others. Her coaching style is gentle and knowledgeable, respecting the choices and birth plans of her clients, while at the same time keeping rooted in her own knowledge, wisdom, and experience. What she contributes to/during the birthing process is practical, valuable, and a great source of comfort and support to all who are fortunate to participate in this wondrous life event.
8/24/2017
SheeLee was my doula with my second pregnancy. Words cannot describe how amazing this woman is; her words of encouragement helped ease my mind and we learned so much from her. I was going for a VBAC with my second and she did everything in her power to help me reach my goal. I had some complications during labor and had to get a second c/s but I will always be grateful for her constant support, she never once gave up on me and definitely made labor a lot more enjoyable than the first time. I haven't given up, if there's one thing I learned from her, it's that my body is a lot stronger than I think and I know without a doubt that I will be able to get my natural birth in the future. When the time comes I will be even more prepared, I will be stronger, more mentally prepared thanks to her, and I will make sure she's by my side again to witness another miracle. Thank you SheeLee for always being so wonderfu, for your sweet spirit, and for never giving up on us!

The Bradley Classes that SheeLee taught my wife and I were great! We both learned so much it and it helped our confidence in having our first homebirth. That was about 3 years ago when we started the Bradley classes...and still today I haven't forgotten much! Since that first homebirth, we have had another homebirth, and this time we didn't have time for a doula over even the midwives! SheeLee's training stuck with me well enough that my wife gave birth to our son with just my assistance and everything went GREAT! I give credit back to SheeLee's training and how well she can connect with her clients to ensure that get the most out of the classes.
6/23/2017
When SheeLee was our Doula a couple years ago, my wife laborered for less than 2 hours! SheeLee was great at coaching my wife through a point where there wasn't any progress. She was feeling defeated and SheeLee's words of encouragement quickly got her mind back on the task at hand and it was literally moments later that our daughter was born!
I highly reccommend SheeLee for your next birth!
6/21/2017
My husband and I used SheeLee as our Bradley coach for our first birth and we loved her so much that we decided to hire her as our doula too. She was amazing!! Our birth went so well and I just know it wouldn't have been the same without her. She has an abundance of knowledge about natural births and really knows how to execute her knowledge as a doula. And her voice! It's so soothing and sweet, which for me was huge during birth. We moved before our second child was born, but we still Skyped her for a refresher course before she was born. Couldn't recommend her more highly!!
