Fee Details

Fees are flexible and depend on my experience with your particular needs, as well as your location. I always take into consideration any special circumstances preventing you from paying my fees, and I am glad to work out a payment plan. I provide military discounts. My fees are low as a "new" doula, thought I must cover direct costs to care for you, i.e., travel, parking, childcare, etc. I have years of experience in the postpartum field, so I charge accordingly. In addition to caring for mom and newborn, I can also care for older children while mom rests.

Lauren was simply amazing! I couldn't imagine going through labor without her... She did positioning, counter pressure and massage. she had me using the birthing ball and guided me through every step of the way. My husband was also there with me and she did a phenomenal job guiding him on how he can help me and provide support all throughout. she helped me with my first baby and I willl definitely use her for the second one :)

I am so thankful to have found Lauren as our doula. She is one of the most genuine and caring people I've ever met.

I was very nervous about the labor and delivery with my first baby. I knew I wanted the birth to be as calm and relaxed as possible, but I was afraid of the possibility like a C-Section, episiotomy, or an induction. I didn't know if I would be able to handle the pain. I didn't know if I would get along with my nurse. There wasn't really anything that I wasn't scared about. But once I met Lauren, I felt a relief knowing that she'd be there to help me through. She is so kind and compassionate, and she's also incredibly knowledgeable -- exactly who you would want by your side for this experience.

Unexpectedly, my water broke at 38 weeks and I was not having any contractions at all. Lauren gave me advice on how I could naturally bring on labor before going in to the hospital, where they wanted to induce me 12 hours later. She showed me how to use a birthing ball and encouraged lots of walking. Thanks to our efforts, my contractions did start happening on their own! Lauren also showed me different positions that I could use to manage the pain of my contractions. She made sure to help me practice them while the contractions were still weak, so that by the time they became stronger I was able to handle them much better. She kept me on the birthing ball, up and walking around as long as I could do it.

Ultimately, I was able to deliver the baby vaginally without any pitocin to help my contractions along. I am so happy with how my labor and delivery experience went, and I honestly do not think that would be the case if Lauren wasn't there. I was very worried and very scared to go through the delivery, but she helped me feel relaxed and confident. She encouraged & guided me through the contractions, the pushing, and even through my first breastfeeding experience. I cannot thank her enough for everything!

Lauren was an AMAZING Doula! During my preganancy she kept in close contact with me and my progress. She has such a passion for caring for pregnant mothers and newborns. I became extremely ill during my last few weeks of pregnancy and ended up in the hospital several times. Lauren was continuously by my side. She even came in and gave me a pedicure because I felt so blah. I went into labor at 37.5 weeks at 4am in the morning. Lauren was there within 30 minutes. My husband is a wonderful man but not the comforting type (like many men). Lauren was there by my side every step of the way. She was there through a very traumatic birth. This was my 3rd child and didnt think much of it. I went into the hosptial at 4cm dilated and was full faced in 20 mintues. There was no time for anything but to have the baby including an epidural. I had Landon Edward in a 2 hour time span from start of my contractions to finish. At birth Landon was very sick. He was was rushed to the NICU and spent 21 days there. I was devistated when I couldnt hold my baby or hear him cry. I was transported from one hosptial to another (the one he was transported to). I have no family in the area and my Mother and Aunt couldnt get there for another 2 days. My husband had to stay home with our other children and couldnt stay with me. The hospital was also 45 min from home. Lauren stayed with me for 2 nights straight! She came in with flowers, magazines and ice cream! This DOULA and FRIEND was my life saver! She helped me through the most difficult days of my life.
