Clients per month: 1 to 3 births and 2 to 3 postpartum families

Postpartum limits/restrictions: My preference is a non-smoking home environment because I am allergic to cigarette smoke. I'm okay with pets on a case by case basis so let's talk. I do not provide overnight care or stay with your baby alone at home. Postpartum support is provied exclusively for my existing birth clients, with a few case-by-case exceptions. Services are between 8am - 5pm.

I do not provide transportation for my clients to the hospital, this includes when I meet you at home during labor.

Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
I do not provide transportation for my clients to the birth center, this includes when I meet you at home during labor.

Attends home births? Some Home Births
I attend home births that are supported by a licensed maternal health provider.

My practice focuses on providing my clients with comprehensive perinatal education and support, drawing on more than 20 years of experience. The promise: My goal is to show you a clear path to creating a satisfying birth experience by developing a birth vision that prioritizes your values, beliefs, and preferences, using the inner strengths and intuition you likely already possess, evidence-based practices, and my guidance. My areas of specialty include working with women over 35, high risk diagnosis, and desiring a VBAC. After using my birth training to advocate, volunteer, and lead in the maternal and child health field, I returned to my birth roots to provide one-on-one support to the women and families that need me the most. I have been involved with childbearing families since 2000, as a childbirth educator, doula and wellness educator. Over the years, I have educated and supported hundreds of women and their families through programs, workshops and partnering with non-profits. Fee Details

I work with families covered by the Walmart medical plan, Carrot Fertility, and NYS Medicaid. I believe every family should have access to the doula of their choice, which is why I also offer virtual doula services that provide emotional, informational, and social support for both you and your support person. If you're experiencing significant financial hardship, I will do my best to refer you to a qualified doula when possible.
