Postpartum limits/restrictions: My postpartum services are reserved for clients who I have worked with as a birth doula. All other inquiries are on a case-by-case basis.
Attends hospital births? All Hospitals
I do not provide transportation for my clients to the hospital, this includes when I meet you at home during labor.
Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers
Clients must arrange their own transportation to and from the birth center. Transportation is not provided by Kingdom Birth Services, including when support begins at home during labor.
Attends home births? Some Home Births
I attend planned home births supported by a licensed maternal healthcare provider. If a transfer is needed, clients are responsible for arranging transportation; Kingdom Birth Services does not provide transportation during labor or transfers.

I am MEGI-certified as a high-risk doula and provide nonclinical education, preparation, emotional support, and advocacy for families navigating complex or high-risk pregnancies. My professional and community involvement includes leadership with the Breath of Life Christian Birthworkers Association, membership in the Black Christian Birth Workers Network, and membership in the New York Coalition for Doula Access since 2013. I am also the author of Invite God Into Your Birth Room: The Art of Spiritual Strategy for the Childbearing Year.

Fee Details
My comprehensive birth doula support package is $2,200 for self-pay clients. Families using NYS Medicaid, Managed Care, TriCare, or eligible employee benefits may have different coverage or payment arrangements, which are reviewed individually. Virtual doula support is also available when appropriate. If cost is a concern, please reach out to discuss available options or referrals.

There are no words to express how thankful I am for everything Tamara did for us. She was amazing. It didn't occur to me that I wanted a doula until I was 38 weeks pregnant. A friend's midwife recommended Tamara, and just from our first phone call, I could sense that Tamara has a great energy about her. We had an appointment to meet up on a Monday, but I went into labor the Friday before that. Even though we had but a couple of phone calls, and had never met in person, Tamara came in and provided exactly what I needed, when I needed it. I had a very long labor, and Tamara was right there by my side for it all to make me comfortable both in body and mind. I will cherish my birth experience and how much better it was because she was there. Even though things didn't go exactly according to my birth plan, I don't regret anything. I feel like I made the right decisions at the time, and Tamara's guidance is a huge part of why I'm able to feel that way. It is 100% without hesitation that I would recommend Tamara as a doula to any of my friends.
