Hannah was my doula for the birth of my second child. She was with me everystep of the way and supported both myself and my husband. She pretty much made sure I was not only taken care of by the staff but give my husband pointers on how he could help me. She helped me by clairifying what the staff was saying and over was just a great support physically and emotionally. With this being my second birth she also helped with making sure we had everything we needed for our son while at the hospital with us.
I would definitely recommend Hannah to help them with this amazing event.
When telling my birth story I often find myself repeating this line, "I would't have been able to do it without Hannah". Having a doula truly was the best decision I made in regards to my birth, and Hannah went above and beyond any expectations I had.
I had a 44 hour labor and she was by my side through 27 consecutive hours of it. She breathed labor breathe with me, which kept my focus and gave me strength. Thinking back, Hannah had a lot of tricks up her sleeve that I hadn't thought or heard of. Laboring with another mother is so empowering. My husband was so supportive and helpful as well, but there is just something different about a doulas touch.
