We hired Ashli for the birth of our second child. After not having a doula for the delivery of our first child, we wanted someone who would give us the encouragement and tools to make our second delivery the experience we wanted. Ashli did just that. She was caring, knowledgeable, and always supportive of our decisions during the process. When we found out that our baby was breech, she was quick to offer her support. I went in for a ECV and Ashli was there, supporting me through the process. And when I delivered our baby via cesarean, she stayed by our side in the operating room. She was so amazing, and I am so thankful she was part of our daughter's birth story.

Ashli was amazing to have as support during the birth of our baby girl. Things went very differently than they had with the birth of my son. He was 10 days early, with my water breaking sending me straight to the hospital without any questions. But my daughter kept me guessing, sending me into the hospital twice to be checked before finally making her appearance on her due date. Ashli was so supportive of my decisions and waited with me in triage. She was understanding after we'd learned I wasn't quite in active labor yet. She would assure me that each time I had made the right decision. Once my daughter did decide to make her appearance (in the middle of the night) Ashli was ready and willing to join us at the hospital. She stayed with me throughout the delivery and even stayed the night since my spouse had to go back home to be with our son. She went above and beyond to help me with our new baby overnight so that I could get at least a few hours of sleep. She kept a log of everything that happened. Which was so helpful when the nurses changed shifts and my original nurse couldn't remember details like if my water broke or had to be broken, Ashli was right there with the answers. Although an exciting time, having a baby can be so stressful and having Ashli with us relieved tons of pressure. Allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the arrival of our beautiful baby girl. I will forever be grateful that she was a part of our experience.

Ashli was a fabulous Doula for the birth of my daughter. She was available in the room at all times. She was quiet but was my voice with Dr's and nurses when I needed it heard. She knew what I wanted and helped to excecute my birth plan. When things didn't go according to plan as sometimes they do, we rolled with it and Ashli helped me work through my pain. Ashli was a peace and calm presence which I so needed that day. She knew what I was thinking and hoping for the whole time, though little words were exchanged. I will use her again!
