Jennifer was a wonderful doula and absolutely helped both my husband and myself during the birth of our first baby on January 3, 2018. From the moment we met Jennifer at our initial interview, we both walked out of Caribou knowing we wanted her to be there alongside us during this process. From her preparation meeting where she helped us go through our entire birth plan, to her arrival at the hospital in her beautifully, calming personality, I can't begin to express how valuable her work was for us. I started laboring at home with my husband at 7pm on January 1 and requested Jen to meet us at the hospital around 1:00pm on January 2. At that time, she worked closely with the wonderful nurses to get me into many different positions to help me breath through my contractions. Jennifer has a very calming personality and there were many times I just stared at her during contractions and just looking at her made me feel like everything would be okay. Because this was our first baby, my husband and I appreciated her experience. It ended up being quite an intense delivery and after being treated for a fever, concerns of meconium, our baby's heart rate dropping for too long, being in occiput posterior position (sunnyside up), pushing for nearly 5 hours and eventually having to be hand-vacuumed out, it goes without saying that I'm not sure I could have gotten through it without her. I know my husband felt equally as strong about having her as his partner during this as he was actively engaged the entire time and it was extremely helpful to have her by his side to ensure I wasn't ever left alone or without support. Lastly, the photos she took throughout the labor are absolutely some of my most treasured photos. Both of us cried when we initially received them from her and I still cry each time I look at them! Thank you Jennifer for being such a wonderful soul and helping us deliver our beautiful baby girl!

Jennifer was my doula for my 3rd birth, a planned csection. She was such a wonderful presence throughout the entire day. She was with us before the birth, and was able to document our preparations unobtrusively and keep the mood light. In the OR she did exactly what I needed from her, gently describing what was happening, encouraging the both of us and holding my hand when needed. She has such a heart for this work, and her sweet, gentle and happy spirit shines through. I hardly noticed that she was taking pictures before, during and after the birth, and she very quickly surprised me with beautiful pictures of our new baby, the birth and our family all together. I highly recommend Jennifer if you are looking for doula services! Not only will you get amazing support, but you will get the pleasure of getting to know her as you prepare for your birth. Thank you for supporting us and helping to bring our 3rd boy into this world!

Jenni was my doula for my second birth. She is amazing! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic, and calming. She brings a wonderful energy to the birth by her presence. She is also very good at relieving physical discomfort. I needed her to get through every contraction! I have very long, painful labors and Jen was a life-saver. Not only is she amazing during the birth itself, but she is so knowledgeable on birth and all the surrounding subjects that I found myself contacting her about pre-natal issues, birth preparation, nursing issues, parenting issues, and sleep advice. She is your one-stop shop to having an amazing birth and entrance into motherhood.
Thank you for being there for me through thick and thin Jen!

Jen is absolutely amazing! She was so helpful and encouraging during my birth! I was so scared going Into my first all natural birth, and it went as smooth as could be! We can't thank jen enough for all of her help through the whole thing, not to mention the months leading up to the birth and even after too!

Jennifer was such a wonderful support to me! Unfortunately because she was on call with me and my labor went faster than we thought, she missed the labor and delivery. HOWEVER...she stayed for several hours after helping me nurse and giving me advice and encouragement. Plus I had a difficult time nursing afterwards and she was a constant support for me through that struggle. I truly felt so grateful to have her and would recommend her to anyone!

Jennifer is awesome. My delivery was very hard for me because I didn't have any family around but Jennifer Was there for me. She was patient, friendly, caring, and super helpful during my labor. From massaging my waist through contractions to just holding my hands and being there for me. Jennifer is great and I'm really greatfull for all she did for me.

Jennifer is absolutely thee best Doula. I had my first child oct, 2016. She was not only supportive doing the active labor but leading up to giving birth. One thing she said that stuck with me the most was preparing to have the baby. When your in the room with all the nurses and doctors, most times they encourage their beliefs etc. Jennifer empowered me to speak out and inform the doctors of what I want and how it should be done. Jennifer has great practices. She encouraged me to get my placenta encapsulated ( she also gave me connections to get them encapsulated at a reasonable price) she came to visit me again a week after having my new born. Great advice on breastfeeding (life saver, lol). Jennifer gave me healthy breast milk in case my milk didn't come in in a timely manner. Healing after birth can be a pain, she informed me about this bathing substance that goes into the bath water called ( after birth, in which she gave me! ). Going through postpartum depression is definitely hard to go through alone. Jennifer was there when I called or texted at 2am or 4am lol. Being a new mom, breastfeeding, recovering from having the baby is not easy doing it alone! I'm am so grateful to have had her by my side the entire ride! Thank you Jennifer!!!!! Oops almost forgot she also helped with taking pictures of my newborn
