I found Stephanie through a doula friend of mine in New York a few months before giving birth to my first child. I had spoken to several doulas before connecting with Stephanie and was beginning to feel a bit discouraged. They were either WAY out of my price range or I found them to be a bit overbearing and opinionated. I wasn’t looking for someone to tell me what I should want, I was looking for someone to come alongside me and support me in the decisions I had already made and then offer feedback when asked. Stephanie was that woman! She was very knowledgeable and kind but in no way overbearing or opinionated. Stephanie lives about 2 hours from the hospital I gave birth in but I am pretty sure she was there 2 hours and 5 minutes after I called her! I was very relieved to see her there so quickly. My labor ended up taking about 24 hours and she was there from start to finish. She was such a trooper through it all and I am sure she was exhausted but she kept the focus on serving me the whole time - a true saint! My labor went much different than I had hoped/planned but Stephanie was very good about helping me emotionally through the transition. I really appreciated her services, especially as a scared first time mom. Thank you so much, Stephanie!

Stephanie was amazing! She brought a sense of peace and calmness to the room which was so needed! She was an amazing listener which I also needed. My husband was so grateful too for her giving him relief and much needed rest. Definitely recommend Stephanie!!

I met Stephanie in the summer of 2017 probably a month or two before I gave birth! My husband was deployed majority of my pregnancy but when he came home we decided a doula would be the right choice to help us achieve the goal of a natural birth. With this being my first pregnancy and my birth being stephanies first as a doula, i was a little nervous as i didn’t even totally understand what role a doula has. But Stephanie was so great in being there for me the last weeks/months of my pregnancy. She helped me with my birth plan and understanding risks and benefits. The weekend after my due date I did have high blood pressure and it was determined I had development preeclampsia. For that reason, I was induced with pitocin. We called Stephanie in the middle of the night and she made the trip up to us and had everything she needed to get onto Fort Campbell. It was SUCH a relief knowing she could get on post without my husband having to leave me. I did receive an epidural, but it failed and I still had excruciating pain in my hips and my back. Stephanie not only massaged my hips and back to help the pain for what was probably hours, but she also showed my husband how to do it so he could do the other side as well! She wiped my forehead with rags, held the bag when I was nauseous and sick, held my leg when it was time to push so that my husband could be at my head supporting. She watched what tools the doctors had to ensure they followed my birth plan of no episiotomies and delayed cord clamping. After it was over, she brought me a choice of snacks from her own bag and made sure I stayed hydrated the whole time. She was absolutely incredible. Two weeks after the birth we met up again to have coffee and talk about the birth together and I had absolutely zero complaints. Even though my birth didn’t go how I planned, Stephanie went above and beyond for not only me, but my husband as well. We are so thankful that our paths crossed!!

Steph was absolutely wonderful throughout my pregnancy and birth of my son. She would check on me through each trimester and helped offer advice for symptoms that I experienced. When I needed to be induced, she met us at the hospital and made sure I was comfortable and helped me as the contractions started. Steph really helped support me throughout the labor and birth of my son. I highly recommend Steph to anyone in search for a doula.

We met with Stephanie twice before the day of our birth. She was very professional and prepared. I had planned to have a natural birth but due to some medical complications needed to be induced and ended up getting an epidural. Stephanie was very flexible and supportive. She showed up exactly when we asked her to and stayed for the entire labor, nearly 12 hours. She was on top of it, finding ways to help us the whole day. She was involved but not pushy at all and got along perfectly with our family and the hospital staff. I would definitely recommend her to a friend.
