I cannot say enough wonderful things about Abby!  When I found out I was pregnant, my husband and I knew that as first time parents we wanted someone to guide us through the birthing process and help keep both of us as calm as possible during the process.

When we found Abby, we both felt increibly comfortable with her.  She was there for us every step of the way, and her visits before our big day helped my husband and I feel as prepared as we could to bring our little one into the world.  She helped us come up with a tentative birthing plan, and fully supported all the decisions we made.

Though most of my labor is somewhat of a blur, my husband said he would have been completely lost without Abby.  Both of us felt 100% taken care of.  Even though I ended up getting an epidural, Abby and my husband still helped me get into different positions for pushing, and her assistance during pushing was priceless.  After our daughter was born, little things like bringing our bags up to our hospital rooms were helpful so we could really focus on spending time with our new daughter.

Perhaps most amazing was how much Abby was there for me postpartum.  I suffered from pretty severe post-partum anxiety and felt like she was one of the only people I could confide in.  She was in touch with me on a regular basis, and I felt truly supported.  5 months later and Mom, Dad, and Baby are all doing amazing.  Should we ever choose to have another child, we hope she will be a part of it again! Thanks so much Abby!!
