After meeting with Stacey for the first time, we knew we loved her energy and her tone was exactly what we needed during labor and birth. She gave my husband and me so much confidence and support that we felt very comfortable and prepared to have a natural childbirth.  During the last few weeks of my pregnancy, we found out our breech baby would not turn.  I was devastated as I have been dreaming for years about having a natural childbirth.  Stacey always had the most supportive and positive things to say to help me see that my cesarean birth could be just as beautiful.  We were incredibly thankful to have her in the room to take pictures of the birth so that my husband could comfort me and then stay with me while my husband tended to our new baby.  Her experience and loving care were absolutely invaluable and I could not recommend her more.

Stacey was wonderful to work with throughput the entire process.  She was knowledgable and patient in the meetings leading up to the due date.  She was especially a great resource to have when we were trying to figure out when to go to the hospital, and during the labor process.  As the dad, I relied on her lead with what to say and do to support my wife as much as possible during labor at the hospital.  She was great leading up to the day, but invaluable the day of, and has my highest recommendation!

We were blessed to have Stacey as our doula for our daughter’s C-Section birth!

This was my second C-Section. Throughout my pregnancy, the plan for another C-Section had me very anxious. Stacey was AMAZING! She made time to get to know me, learn about my past birth experience, and my priorities for this birth. When we got to the day of our daughter’s delivery she distracted me when I needed to be distracted, helped me to relax when I was tense, and helped me to focus when that’s what I needed. She also helped me to advocate for the things I told her I wanted from this birth. Stacey made this C-Section experience a positive one! We can’t thank her enough!

Stacey is an incredable dula and was a HUGE support to my and my husband (well my whole birth team!) for my first labor. She has sinced MOVED (sad) from MN so I had to find another for my second birth. I am a doctor of chiropractic and wellness coach and when looking for a person who shared my natural view of birth she was wonderfully easy to talk to and had a comforting calm and chill nature to her. Lets be honest for a second, you don't want someone who is going to have manorisms or habits that will annoy you when you are trying to push a baby out of you... she was aweosome and was always what I needed her to be at any given moment. My husband is also a doctor of chiropractic, but when it came to birth most of our husbands are lost and become useless! Without Stacey I would have abandoned my plan and gone strait to the drugs immediately, but she was there to help me achieve what I wanted and helped my husband be an active partner in the whole process, she even took some pics of everything. I am not sure who she helped more, my husband or me because he stated over and over again how he would have been so lost without her. (And I probably would have killed him). I had a particularly difficult labor, 31 hours of real labor and lots of early labor before that. From the first hour (of 31) I had significant severe back labor (ironic I know - his head was tilted slighly we now know) and after laboring for 28 hours of rough labor and severe back pain I tranfered from the birth center and my big tub to an epidural/hosptial birth. After having my second (the labor part was much less painful and 1/6 the back labor) It was obvious how difficult the 1st one was. Stacey was there through all of it and really helped me adjust to what presented to be a tough birth even with my natural birth plan. I felt supported to achieve what I wanted originally, and also coached and supported to adapt when we needed to. I am so grateful for her and what she did for my and my family!
