Client Testimonials for Anjanette Robinson

Post a testimonial for Anjanette Robinson

David and I wanted to expand our family. God worked with us on so many things during our struggle to conceive. After failed fertility treatments and a miscarriage in March 2014 we were at our wits end on expanding our family. God loved us enough to take my mind off being pregnant and put it towards getting healthy and living my life. I didn't know he had a few more things I needed to do before my pregnancy would happen. We became pregnant in early 2018 and our beautiful baby David was born on Christmas morning 2018. Anjanette and my husband are classmates and met at Babypooloza. We decided this would be an experience I wanted help with on the big day. Needless to say my girl showed up and showed out all 21 hours it took to bring our baby safely into this world. She knows what she is doing and I really listened to all the homework she gave me. Her support helped me so much and we love her forever for what she did. When we are ready for our daughter she will be the first phone call to start the prep work. Keep doing what you're doing, God gave you a special gift and you use it well.

Working with Anjanette was a decision that I would gladly make again. She helped me advocate for myself during a very stressful labor and delivery situation. She literally stayed up with me and my husband all night before my baby was born to make sure that I had the emotional support I needed to make choices that were most beneficial to us. Anjanette has a supportive and encouraging personality, and she is capable of bringing humor, warmth and spirit to even difficult times. She kept us focused on the miracle that is becoming parents.

I am pleased to have Anjanette as a doula. I booked her only 2wks before I went into labor, but she was amazingly accommodating. She always had high spirits and energy whenever we met with her, and she kept it up when we were in labor.

Once my water broke at midnight, Anjanette answered the call, and met us at the hospital as soon as she could. She came prepared, and introduced us to a lot of techniques and tools to help with laboring. She helped me understand a lot of what the doctor and nurses were saying, so I could make the best choices for me. She stayed with us for 24hrs while I was in labor, and even returned the next day to visit with the baby. How sweet was that. She did home visits once we were released from the hospital, and even random text check-ins. She was so thoughtful and pleasant during our entire experience.

I never knew what doulas were for until the weeks before I met Anjanette. I am grateful to be in partnership with such a wonderful one. I learned a lot through her assistance. Although this was my second delivery, it was much better than my first, thanks to having Anjanette in my corner.

I’ve had the pleasure and honor of being assisted by Anjanette with the birth of my baby girl. Monthprior to my birth, Anjanette met with my fiancé and I to discuss all of our birth options. From the moment we met her we were so grateful. We were set in stone to deliver the baby as natural as possible, with little medical interference. She made me feel empowered and encouraged. Her beautiful spirit, and vast knowledge made us feel instantly at ease. Just a pure joy to be around.

I texted her when I went into labor and she was so supportive. She showed up at the hospital literally within minutes of us getting there. I delivered a healthy baby girl exactly the way I dreamed about. I’m still in awe. I don’t have much family here in Alabama, so I thanked God for sending me Anjanette during one of the most special times of my life.
