I highly recommend Ginger! After a traumatic first birth, my husband and I decided to interview a few doulas to help us through our second pregnancy and birth. Ginger immediately felt like someone I could trust. Not only did she do an awesome job at the actual birth, but she was a resource of knowledge throughout my pregnancy and a great person to go to for references on books, providers, support groups, options, etc. My second birth ended up being an AMAZING experience, making the transition into postpartum so much easier. I couldn't have done it without her by my side! You will not regret the investment of Ginger as your doula, as it is really an investment into yourself, your baby, and your relationship with your partner!

Ginger is amazing. At first I thought having a complete stranger join me during one of the most intimate moments of my life would be awkward, but I left our very first meeting feeling like I had known her forever. She gives you an immediate sense of calm.

Leading up to delivery, I had so many questions and worries and she never failed to make me feel like everything happening was completely normal, and not just normal, but exciting! As a first time mom with nothing to compare what I was feeling to, that alone was worth it. To have reassurance just a phone call or text message away from someone who has so much experience was so valuable and the sense of peace i had leading up to the big day was so irreplaceable. I honestly think your mindset going into it plays a huge part in how a delivery unfolds.

Thank you Ginger, for being part of such an amazing experience, and for being there with us during the best day of our lives!

Long story short - I would hire her again and again and pay triple the cost to have the peace of mind that came with having her as our doula.

Beyond worth it.

Ginger was our doula for the recent birth of our daughter and my husband and I could not have imagined the labor without her by our side. She was incredibly supportive, calm, and compassionate throughout the delivery (she was beside us for 20+ hours of contractions plus our c-section) and so wonderful via text support before and after. Hiring her was truly one of the best decisions we made when preparing for the birth of our daughter and I've highly encouraged friends to do the same!
