Vivian was our doula for our third daughter. I was very anxious for this child birth as it was going to be a VBAC after two csections. I instantly connected with Vivian upon our first meeting. During the child birth, Vivian remained very calm. She was always there to ensure that my needs where heard and met. She was also very helpful towards my husband. She was there to ensure that my husband was also doing well and understood what was happening. I had a very successful VBAC because of Vivian. I often tell my pregnant friends to get a doula because of my amazing experience with Vivian.

Vivian is so gentle and has a very calm demeanour. But at the same time, she can also be stern when things need to be done.

Thank you Vivian for being part of such a precious moment.

Vivian was so helpful through the pregnancy to postpartum process for our family. As first time parents, she helped answer questions and calm anxieties. She helped us prepare our birth plan and ensure our house was set up for the easiest transition once we got home from the hospital. Her postpartum care was awesome - she gave us peace of mind leaving our son with her while we were able to eat or nap. You will never regret getting extra help in those first few weeks.

We met Vivian when expecting our first child. With no easy access to family support, we were super nervous. From our first meeting with Vivian, she provided us with support, reassurance and offered her expertise. She checked in with us prior to labor and ensured we were prepared for the birthing process.

Fast forward to the birth itself, we had challenges, but Vivian was there as a calm and caring presence. When it came to the push phase of the birth, and we needed interventions, Vivian calmly and quite literally held me the entire time.

Afterward, she helped me get to the doctor, watched my baby girl so I could sleep, and generally made sure I was adjusting well.

As the woman in this process Vivian was invaluable to my experience. As much as birth revolves around mother and child, my husband was also able to lean on Vivian for support through this process, especially as things got serious.

You can’t do better for doula support.

After interviewing with a couple of doulas I asked Vivian if she would support me during my first pregnancy. Her kind and caring manner made me feel so comfortable with her. I felt safe know she has experience in nursing as well. The resources that she provided to educate me about the birthing process and her focus on my goals for the birth were wonderful. My first baby arrived a little early and it was her co-doula who attended the birth. Vivian came with her to visit baby and I at home and her expert attention with nursing baby was so helpful. I had difficulty breastfeeding at the beginning but with her support and resources I ultimately nursed until past 18 months!

I appreciated Vivian’s support so much with my first child that I asked her to be my doula for our second baby too. She was calm, helping me to be patient through a lot of pre labour and then to maintain my sanity in a very quick birth. Her follow up helped me to understand and process the intensity of my second birthing experience. Her assistance with nursing was indispensable again with my second daughter, who had tongue-tie. Thankfully, we got in to see a specialist within days and I was able to nurse my youngest daughter until she was 2 years old.

Vivian’s support was essential to both my birthing stories and vital to my success in nursing both my daughters well past my goal of 18 months. I highly recommend her as a caring and professional doula.

From our very first contact we felt so extremely comfortable with Vivian. In our first meeting we chatted for over an hour and I knew she was the doula for us. We found the ability to meet in the comfort of our home and meet before the birth of our first baby so helpful in preparing us for our daughters birth. We ended up having a planned c section so she wasn't present for the actual birth but her assistance with everything during pregnancy, breastfeeding support and home visits post partum were wonderful, especially since we were new parents. I would highly recommend working with Vivian!
