I have always wanted a Doula, and for my most recent pregnancy and delivery I had the priveledge of being under Leslie Anderson's Doula care. I shared with Leslie my desire for a natural birth. In my case I'd been induced with 3 out of 4 previous deliveries. As my due date approached and passed and the days stretched into weeks Leslie was always available when I needed to talk. She was supportive and understanding, but help remind me of my goals and encourage me. When I didn't think I could keep waiting, she suggested ideas to help me relax, she came and walked with me, and always provided a listening ear. She helped me gather the labor aid ingredients and talked with me about my birth plan. The day before I went into labor I was emotionally and physically done! I called and told Leslie I was planning to induce myself with Castor Oil. Leslie was supportive and understanding, yet professionally explained to physical effects of Castor oil induction. Being informed of the effects strengthened me to stick to my plan and wait. The next day I experienced the natural birth I had wanted so bad. I honestly can say I would not have made it to that day without Leslie's support, knowledge, and care. Thank you Leslie and I hope many women benefit from your knowledge, care, and intuition!

Leslie is an amazing doula! Both my husband and I can attest to Leslie's ability and knowledge. Her presence during the birth of our daughter was a tremendous help. This was our first pregnancy and we both wanted to have an experienced and encouraging coach to help us along the way. In addition, I wanted to complete childbirth naturally with no medication. Leslie was helpful in educating us in what to expect in the weeks leading up to the birth, the childbirth process itself, and what to expect postpartum. Leslie was very professional and nurturing throughout the labor and delivery. I found her coaching, and knowledge to be superior to my nurses. Leslie was quick to ask questions and make suggestions that were in my best interest. In addition to her active coaching, Leslie also provided music, essential oil's and massage. Leslie helped us achieve our ideal labor and delivery, she was a great cheerleader in moments where I thought I would not be able to deliver the baby. Leslie also, followed up after the delivery on our little girl and I.
She is awesome and we recommend her highly. Thank you so much!
