My husband and I made a last-minute decision (two weeks before I gave birth) to hire a doula and we are so glad we did! Ebie was exactly what I hoped the experience with a doula would be. She was professional, calm, knowledgeable, supportive and most of all, she helped make me feel empowered and safe during labor and delivery. Specifically, Ebie helped me get into a breathing rhythm and applied counter pressure while laboring at home before we all went to the hospital. Getting into this rhythm helped me cope successfully with contractions. Ebie made sure that my husband played a key role in the process (like teaching him how to help apply counter pressure during contractions) which was very important to us.

Another reviewer mentioned her “quiet confidence and supportive nature” and I think that captures her so well. Overall, we highly recommend her!

I am so grateful for the support Ebie offered, and cannot recommend her highly enough! Right off the bat, she put me and my husband more at ease with her quiet confidence and supportive nature. I felt an instant trust and connection with her, as did my husband. She is very receptive to questions and offered guidance I did not even think to ask for, but greatly appreciated.

Our conversations during my pregnancy made me feel more confident about the birth and preparations, and she was quick to respond and travel to the hospital when I went into a very sudden and challenging labor. After over 20 hours in the hospital, she maintained a positive and comforting attitude that I so appreciated as my husband went to the NICU with our daughter. Ebie was my support system while I began my immediate recovery from the birth, and she stayed right there by my side, making sure I was as comfortable as I could be, talking through how I felt, and ensuring I got something to eat. She then helped connect me with a postpartum doula, and made sure the hand-off was smooth. I would recommend Ebie to anybody, and would gladly work with her again.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Ebie.

My husband and I decided to use a doula very late in the pregnancy.  I was less than a week out from my due date when we decided to interview Ebie.  She met with us, and exhibited professionalism and kindness.  I felt very comfortable with her, and she easily put both my husband and I at ease when it came to the delivery process.

When I next met Ebie, I was in labor - 2 days early from my due date.  She was very accomodating.  She met us at the hospital, and provided nothing but love and support to both of us throughout the day.  She massaged me, held my leg, and comforted me during times of stress.  She offered advice and kept me company when my husband needed a break.

I delievered a healthy baby boy, and my experience would not have been nearly as pleasant without Ebie.

Ebie is such an amazing woman. I have known her almost my whole life but that didn't affect her at all. She was there for me for absolutely everything. She gave me a wonderful massage on my hips and brought some oils that helped with the headache that I was getting. She made sure to ask all the questions that I didn't even know to ask and answered any questions that I had. She was with me for at least 12 hours and stayed by my side the entire time. I'm so grateful for this woman. I would recommend her to anyone.
